who's going to be the next Real manager ?

the Moaner will now almost certainly leave the EPL at the end of the season; Roman will have wondered once again what the Portuguese is doing with all the money and frankly, unless he wins the CL this season they HAVE to sack him

so who will end up at Real ?

according to AS today the Metzelder deal is effectively agreed; the paper claims that Real got Schuster's OK beforehand, suggesting he's the man to lead them to La Liga glory next season

any insight knowledge from our Madrid fans ?

And people accuse Real Madrid of being impatient!

Anyhow, I suspect it will be Schuster. Calderon wanted Schuster originally until Pedja convinced him to bring Capello. I think Calderon understands that he cannot bring another ultra-pragmatic manager to the Bernabeu. If Capello doesn't continue I would be very surprised if his replacement is not Schuster.

Well Mourinho is certainly leaving - I think he may want to manage in Italy though in preference to Spain though I'm sure Madrid are capable of offering him and contract that he cannot refuse

Although i like Mourinho, i hope its Schuster i can't stand another season of Anti Football.

I think Mourinho will not have a new team in the summer:

1. he likes to plan all season and squad
2. he will not leave for his inniciative, he will have to be sacked so he can get the 20 or 30 million in his contract
3. Chelsea will wait as long as they can before giving him the sack

So Mourinho will probably choose his new team either next end of season, or next mid season - a big team in trouble that will give him time to prepare a season.

Theres no doubt about. Quality crop of players already at Real; RAmos. Casillas, Higuain, Gago, Bappy etc.

Mourinho would have the cash too, he would build a real team and we would be solid at the back, but going forward is the part that i'm not too keen on.

With Ze German we will start the season very well and top the leauge - it's happened all the team's he's managed, and then there will be a melt down 3/4 into the season.

Also he is very unexperienced esp in Europe.

I do like the way Mourinho is antagonistic towards Barcelona.

We all know Real Madrid fans don't only want a good manager.They want their team to play a glamour football,to have results and they want their manager to be beautiful too!(remember when Del Bosque was sacked cos he was ugly ? It wasn't enough for them to only win the CL:lol)

They are angry with Cappelo cos his team is very defensive even if teh results are decent for a team in crisis since 2/3 years.Unfortunately Mourinho hasn't got the Madrid mentality and even if i have no doubt the results can improve with him i'm not sure the fans will accept him (always moaning,arrogant and defensive tactics).

They should ask Del Bosque to go back...he is imo the only one who suits their mentality and he even was a ex Madrid player.

But There are some question marks over him, his time in Turkey, although a fair amount was down to the language barrier.

No denying he could still do the job, he's featured alot in AS and said he would consider it, and other times distancing himself.

well the truth is otto that del bosque had some enemies among the board room and when we lost to juve in cl we didnt look incredible for once. also perez belived his own hype and didnt really feel that del bosque had that much of a contribution.

If it was really the looks, I don't think Madrid would have gotten Queiroz, who looks like a reincarnation of Count Dracula

If Jose goes to Madrid, they will probably have a lot of slow, patient build up and win each game 2/3-0.

As this sort of scoreline doesn't seem enough for Madrid fans, he'll probably only last a year or two (despite winning La Liga and a Champions League).

yeah that is prob how it is going to be. allthough i dont think we would be like chelsea unless he buys alot of new midfield players. it would still be spanish version of his playing style meaning it would more passing like valencia maybe.in the end though im not sure he would last since people will get tired of it i think.

If I was associated with Madrid I'd get him just to wind us up, because that would be half the battle.
