Also debating whether to watch it. And I want Liverpool to win. I'm sick to death of this quadruple monster and its ever growing shadow with every win Chelsea eke out.
And now Liverpool are probably out because I just jinxed them.

At the great risk of having to hear 6 Times forever and a day from some L'pool fans - I actually want L'pool to win this one and I think they can do it.
Chelsea for all their good/great players are very boring at times.

Agree with that.
I think like President said, I could take '6 times' over Chelsea winning the quadruple.
Hopefully the winner of our tie will win it though, even if it's Milan.

CHELSEA KILLER
Liverpool's chances of winning are down 30% without him, I feel
Especially since Chelsea have this guy back:

what are the rumours about your side. will the useless ukrainian start?
Im hoping we'll contain you comfortably but it may end up being a terribly nervous watch for both sets of fans
lets hope there is a good atmosphere at SB for once

chelsea have a new nemesis
tonight he will finally prove his value. all the signs are that he is close to fulfilling his potential. I hope rafa lets pennant at cole and gerrard on the left against diarra but we'll see

Re: De Ja Vu Liverpool vs Chelsea Discussion
I like Pennant, but he doesn't have half the goal threat that Garcia has. I'm not sure about his ability to produce something out of nothing in these tight games as well. Will Crouch start? That could be the key to how well Pennant & Gerrard play. I don't think either will be half as good if Bellamy starts, especially Pennant. The Welshman will be a great sub to have late on.
In all these meetings with Chelsea: Garcia > Gerrard.
Just like J.Cole > Lampard for the Blues.

there are so many options for rafa i really don't like thinking about what he will put out
but what I want is
.........................reina
finnan......carra............agger......riise
pennant....macsh........xabi........gerrard
...............kuyt............crouch
chelsea are nothing special so im praying rafa is brave enough to go for something like this. masch, xabi and gerrard should have enough class to control mikel, flump and maka. however if he chooses a more solid lineup then he will probably be right in the line run.
we have had a few great games over the years (and a few poor ones ). here's hoping it is another excellent battle between the two best managers in club football
P.s can't see bellamy playing. to be useful here would involve carvalho and terry actually leaving their own penalty box which clearly is not going to happen

Re: De Ja Vu Liverpool vs Chelsea Discussion
No Essien for Chelsea - so there's no need for Sissoko for 'Pool.
I hate Mikel's attitude - but he is absolute quality. Very interesting battle in the making between him & Mascherano.
P.S That goal was against a central defence containing Paolo Ferreira. Who makes JT look competant

Re: De Ja Vu Liverpool vs Chelsea Discussion
Luis Garcia may not be involved when Liverpool take on Chelsea in the Champions League semi-finals – but that doesn't mean he can't help them get to Athens.
The injured star, who scored the only goal when the Reds met Chelsea at this stage in 2005, has revealed that he's turned himself into a Kopite in a bid to stay involved.
"I have been low and frustrated sitting on the sidelines and missing so many big games," the Spaniard told icons.com.
"The Champions League is a competition that everybody likes to play in. It has a special atmosphere that brings back great memories. It's hard for me not playing, but I encourage the lads like a Liverpool supporter when I watch the side.
"Reaching another semi-final is a reward for our hard work. The team suffered a big shock halfway through the season by going out of two cup competitions. Everyone was so disappointed but they worked well to fight back and that effort has been rewarded."
Garcia admits he still regularly watches videos of the famous semi-final victory two years ago.
"That goal I scored in 2005 gives me so many very good memories," he said. "It was very important. It was very clear to me at the time that it was over the line, which is why I started the celebration at that moment.
"But the last 10 minutes were very hard. I think back to that last 10 minutes at my house sometimes and often switch on the television to watch it again so that I will always remember it."
The playmaker, who was ruled out for the season after rupturing a cruciate knee ligament against Arsenal in January, expects to start running again next week.

Fair enough.
I'm confident that Rafa won't be adventurous though, especially at the bridge.
It'll be Arbelo and Risse down the left.

we really don't need two fullbacks against chelsea's no winger game
rafa played gerrard on the left at stamford bridge earlier in the season so i like my chances spank
