The exit has nothing to do with playing poorly tonight. We simply didn't take our chances in the 1st leg.

All you needed to do was score one goal and you had zero even half decent attempts at goal IIRC. I'm not rubbing it in, but why the hell did Kalou play so many minutes considering he was shite and why the hell did Chelsea continue to play diagonal long balls to Drogba all game despite the fact it didn't work once?

Hard to know how to feel isn't it?

I'm happy for Rafa, a good, humble man, and tactical mastermind.

Whatever the result, football was to be the loser, all us fans of the beautiful game must clear our lungs, and ready them to cheer on the winner of the game tomorrow night in the final.

Regardless of the result tonight, I'm incredibly proud of the team. 23 games without defeat before tonight, the fact we still look reasonably fresh after 60 matches (although wins are starting to become fewer and fewer).

But congratulations Liverpool, and good luck in the final Ale

Lampard didn't deserve to be on the losing side.

He gave a central midfield masterclass - his set-piece deliveries in particular were of the highest quality.

Man of the match by some distance I thought.

Clearly not. We didn't take our chances in the first leg and then we didnt hold our nerve in the pens.

However could you please stop posting about football. Nobody really cares what you have to say.

Technically this was a "Draw - game decided on penalties". Smiley Wink

You can have all the money in the world. If you don't use it properly, you'll never be successful.

Being a fan for 20 years, and watching us struggling against the likes of Norwich (no offence to them), Millwall (yeah, OK offence to them), I think I can talk about having pride.
