Milan deserved to win. Not because they played better, but here's why:

1. Benitez didn't get it right today. Many small mistakes.

2. Liverpool weren't good enough up front. Also affected by point 1. as I've posted on this thread.

3. Though Liverpool attacked more in the 1st half, I got the feeling it was more a case of attacking to prevent Milan from attacking, just like in the Anfield leg of the tie against us.


But now would also be a good time to point out that perhaps Milan shouldn't even be in the tournament if not for the judge's decisions in Italy last year. I congratulate you Milan, but everyone will do well to remember this fine print disclaimer.

To be fair I don't think anybody played that well out there tonight. Milan were horrid and Liverpool rather toothless (except for maybe offside goal...).

The ref blew at least a minute maybe 2 minutes early.

Milan were fucking awful and somehow they won, unlucky Liverpool the better side lost.

I think I hate Inzaghi more than Lampard, how has such untalented weasel faced, cheating, whining, rat boy scored so many goals???!!!! Is he the worst player to ever score 2 goals in a CL final.

you should be seeing every milan game...its that all the time...3 goals from 3 chances or something similiar

And if Inzaghi is untalented, so is Van Nistelrooy, who seems to get loads of plaudits for just being good at positioning and a tap-in king.
