Bloody hell, I just realised - is this Seedorf's 4th CL?

And I still stand by Nesta as my Man of the Match.
Maldini to go up and collect the trophy in the stands, like it's been done historically. What a fitting image
To be honest only Mascha played well overall everyone else was rubbish, I dont think one offensive Milan was good, Seedorf, Kaka and Gattuso were the polar opposites of there performance against united.

Carragher was awful it has to be said.
Where was the atmosphere?
Not awful, but I agree, wasn't his best night and I would place him at fault for the 2nd goal, though it was a brilliant run from Inzaghi and pass to him from Kaka.

Milan were fucking awful and somehow they won, unlucky Liverpool the better side lost.
I think I hate Inzaghi more than Lampard, how has such untalented weasel faced, cheating, whining, rat boy scored so many goals???!!!! Is he the worst player to ever score 2 goals in a CL final.
Congratulations Milan.
Watch it again, it was 20 seconds.
And if Inzaghi is untalented, so is Van Nistelrooy, who seems to get loads of plaudits for just being good at positioning and a tap-in king.
a lot could have happened in 20 seconds, Kas. They were on the verge of scoring another offside goal.

van Nistelrooy? Yes, many times. He's a bit more allround than Inzaghi, no doubt, but I take offence to the way Rez is insulting Pippo (not that I care much for him as a person) esp. after he was 2nd MOTM for Milan tonight.

I know, we had the same thing against Chelsea. And Rijkaard got so much stick for it.

He was at fault for the first as well. His clearance went straight to Kaka.

I said before the game gerrard is $h!t playing off a striker. it takes away everything he does well by playing him there
hindsight is a wonderful thing and we were the better team but crouch would have been a much better player to make us more threatening tonight
don't want to criticise benitez because he actually lost for once but it leaves wondering what could have been

Milan were very poor in midfield ; seedorf , kaka, Gattuso and pirlo were all poor.
Nesta wasn't good in possession but played very well defensively.

Congratulations Milan.
We may have had more of the ball, but it was a fair result - if we can't convert chances and turn possession into goals, then we don't deserve to win. I'm really upset and frustrated about our lack of thrust, and today's performance again proved that players like Pennant and Zenden simply aren't good enough for a championship winning side. Again, I'm blown away by the level of support this Liverpool team receives - you can say what you like but I believe Liverpool fans are the best in the world.
I feel we did ourselves quite proud with that performance, we didn't play badly, and we certainly weren't a walkover as some people were expecting us to be.
Fair play to Milan.

Alonso? No way, his passing was off, and he conceded lots of fouls, crucially for the first goal.
