the REAL reason Why Germany Couldn't Win It!!!!!

We all saw the Germans did quite well at the World Cup for its home crowd. But they DIDN’T win it. Today, I won’t talk about the bribed draw from Lothar and Pele (A disgraced for football of course). That bribed draw gave Germany the opportunity to do well against minor opposition like Costa Rica... No….I won’t talk about that…

We ALL saw the Germans MISSED quality in the team to win it ALL the way from the real countries! They were extremely lucky Argentina destructed itself but then against Italy they were outplayed by a better MIDFIELD! Pirlo was the king of that part of the pitch. Far ahead of Balsack and CO!

The sad thing is! It wasn't necessary because if the Germans looked a little bit FURTHER away than its own border, they would have seen a superb footballer, a German footballer WITH technical SKILLS (unbelievable but true)! He only followed his education in Enschede, the Netherlands: FC Twente!

Because of this, the Germans do not know him! He is the Hargreaves of Germany but then 10 degrees heavier. Every person that looks a LITTLE bit further than his NOSE would know:


SIMON CZIOMMER is BY FAR the best German midfielder!!!!!!

Forget about Balsack, Schweinhund or Bore-owski….

Look at his three superb goals for AZ Alkmaar against NAC Breda!!!! 8-1!!!!!

It is a pity the Germans live in a tunnel…

I see this is placed under European CUP.... It has to be Leagues of course....

So... if one of the mOds are here, they are free to move this thread to the League board!

i know it must be hard for the dutchies, they always believed they were superior then our team, and with better players etc.

Well, it's nice you rate at least one German player, Ricardo. () Unfortunately I can't comment on him though, because I know nothing about him. The only thing I can remember is he played for Schalke once (hardly a favourite club of mine) and an interview with him where he said he feels at home in Holland...

It took you quite a long time to go back to your usual Germany bashing ricardo, I guess you had a hard time during the World Cup.
We will see which team will do better in 2008. Ridiculously underrating Germany will never change, to our benefit.

This Cziommer hype emerging in the lands of Frau Antje, after a single (admittedly) impressive match, reminds me of the hype of another German player stuck in enemy territory: Steffen Hofmann. The Austrians keep raving about him, voting him as player of the year even, still he completely failed to impress when he moved to the Bundesliga for a season. And this is the main difference to Hargreaves - Hargreaves has never played in the EPL so far, while both Cziommer and Hofmann had their chance in the Bundesliga.

Don't want to say that they are not talented, but the situation is completely different.

Cziommer has been (extremely) rated in Holland for a couple of years now.

Finally one of the bigger teams came for him...and in his first official match for them he scores three times !!!

As a midfielder...

Two of them will be contenders for goal of the month...

He's precisely the kind of player we like over here (you'll hear supporters of *all* Dutch teams say good things about him for instance).

He's a free spirit, plays with creativity and class....no wonder you think he wouldn't fit in the German team

I was watching Sportschau (or whatever it's called nowadays) and at almost every match there were a few Dutchmen popping up....

(and not exactly A-level to be honest)

Unfortunately we can't watch the Dutch league here in Germany and there're hardly any news about him here. The last news is he has taken part Ebbe Sand's goodbye match at Schalke and according to transfermarkt.de he is only worth 1 million Euro...

If you Dutchies rate him so much, why don't you naturalise him? AFAIK, he has not played for the German U21 so far, definitely not for the Mannschaft either, and he seems to love it in the Eredivisie so much that he never wants to move back to the Bundesliga again.

I have a suspicion that this is a very perfidious plan of yours to weaken the Mannschaft, or even more perfidious, to smuggle in a oragne agent this way. HA! Let me tell you that we are not this naive, and you can forget about it - we will beat you in 2008. That's a promise!

Nope, no hidden agenda here.

We truly rate the guy.

I personally would *love* it if we would nationalise him for two reasons :

1) I love watching this guy and if we'd play him instead of Sneijder we'd be a lot stronger
2) we could bug you guys till the end of days that a creative German can find no place in the boring black and white and naturally converts to (the) colour (Oranje)

Who says we don't like him? We hardly ever see him play! It's just very suspicious to see Dutchies praising a German guy, there must be a catch in it!

And you can forget about your plan btw. The Austrians tried to naturalise Hofmann so they finally have a player in their squad that is more than just cannon fodder, but smart as we are, we did everything we could to prevent that. And we were successful! But since he played in Austria for too long, we simply don't trust the 'Schluchtenscheisser', and won't give him a chance in the Mannschaft. Better safe than sorry!


Maybe Urs Siegenthaler, the head scout, theoretician and tactician for the Mannschaft (have to love the Swiss, they are more 'German' than the Germans themselves...) will take notice, he is very meticulous in his job usually.

That guy with Dutch roots who decided the match against Oranje with his brilliant assist to set up Gerd Müller's winning goal?

Van Duitse zijde heeft Walstra inmiddels de bevestiging gekregen dat Bonhof (die in de WK-finale de assist voor de winnende treffer van Gerd Müller gaf) destijds op z'n minst bij de verkeerde partij speelde. "Er is een overtreding gemaakt. Bonhof had in München hooguit in Oranje-shirt mogen meedoen," aldus Wolfgang Niersbach, voormalig woordvoerder van de Duitse voetbalbond DFB.

De vork zit als volgt in de steel. Rainer Bonhof is in 1952 geboren in Emmerich, net over de grens bij Lobith. "Wij hadden allemaal de Nederlandse nationaliteit, want mijn opa, oma en vader zijn in Nederland geboren," aldus Anita Schiller. Zij is de nog altijd in Emmerich wonende zus van Bonhof.

"Het hele gezin heeft in 1970 Duitse paspoorten gekregen, dankzij de DFB. De bond wilde Rainer heel graag in het Duitse elftal hebben en was bereid alles te regelen en ook te betalen." Op 18 oktober 1969 beschikte Bonhof dus nog niet over een Duits paspoort. Saillant, omdat hij op die dag debuteerde voor Jong Duitsland, uitgerekend in Geleen tegen Jong Oranje. Daarmee ging de DFB reglementair in de fout. Bonhof had daarom nooit voor het Duitse elftal mogen spelen.

Walstra: "In theorie moet de finale over. Bonhof kan dan met Van Hanegem en Neeskens het Oranje-middenveld vormen. Lukt dat niet, dan moet de uitslag ongeldig verklaard worden. Regels zijn regels. In plaats van 2-1 moet er 0-3 in de geschiedenisboeken komen te staan."

De Fries heeft serieuze pogingen ondernomen om de WK'74-finale overgespeeld te krijgen. Het plan was om op 7 juli aanstaande (exact dertig jaar na de voor Oranje zo dramatisch verlopen eindstrijd) opnieuw af te trappen. In Emmerich. Walstra had al contact gezocht met de plaatselijke voetbalclub (waarvan Bonhof nog steeds lid is), maar de voorzitter durfde de handschoen niet op te nemen.

Walstra denkt dat het er nu niet meer van komt, ook al heeft hij diverse toezeggingen binnen. Van Johnny Rep en René van de Kerkhof, maar ook van George Schwarzenbeck, Jürgen Grabowski, Bernd Hölzenbein en Wolfgang Overath.

Rainer Bonhof, die in Schotland de nationale jeugdteams coacht, was niet bereikbaar voor een reactie op de beweringen en plannen van Walstra.

Hell, even an university of yours just recently said that you losing 'unfairly' is a myth, after thoroughly analysing the match, and you simply lost to the better team. Vogts was the key player in that match, neutralising Cruyff like no other player before.

Difference was that we had GERD MULLER. A striker who's scoring record (goals to games) at the highest level will never be bettered.

The hype of Cruyff couldn't win the tournament and he was given a masterclass in the art of defending.

It surprises me every day why the Germans care so much about us! I never hear something about Austria, Belgium, Switserland, Denmarkl, Poland, Czechia...etc...
