I think a few other teams (wouldnt be surprised to see Preston go for him then sell Nugent) will try and match that but would be a great deal for Norwich.

Blackpool 2-0 Yeovil
Congrats Blackpool they are promoted to the Championship , again the form team at the end of the season has come through the play-offs but they deserve promotion after finishing 3rd.
59,313 attendence which is actually a couple thousand under yesterdays League Two play-off finals.

Re: Play offs
Blackpool might be able to get their ground sorted out now. At the mo it only has two proper stands and one temp stand which away fans sit in, it holds 1,700 and has no roof, somehting for the Charlton and Sheff Utd fans to look forward to.

Re: Play offs
Going to be strange to see Blackpool in the second tier, maybe they can do a Colchester through. It would have been great if the Yeovil fairytale continued though. Four years ago they gained promotion to the football League!
I have never been too Blackpool's ground but I have been to Huish Park and it is no way near a Championship standard stadium.

Hmmm, we will see on that one. NOTW isn't it, not exactly trustworthy. I think Sharp will stay at Scunny and try his hand at Championship football with them myself.
Grant has shown interest in Chris Sutton however, Earnshaw - Sutton would be very promising. As it would have been last season had Worthington not made one of the decisions that saw him out the door - by not signing him.

Went this season mate. It is very comparable to lets say....Plymouth, or at least, it will be once it has three/four sides.
Away fans are housed in a golf style temporary stand along the touchline at the moment - open to the Blackpool wind and rain - not pleasant, whilst one end is open.
I like the way that the two stands that have been constructed within the last two years have already started to rust, sea air.

Certianly will, I guess i wouldn't mind West Brom to stay down, perhaps it will mean that Saints can get a few of their players.
Derby will go straight back down though.

Giles Barnes is a name that we should keep a look out for.
Should WBA not score over the next few minutes, this team will be broken up. Koumas is a Premiership player.

No way will they sack him, since he took over they have done well and have become more diciplined. They will keep him on but i think he will have to sell a couple of players to balance the books. Kamara, Koumas maybe Gera are the most likley to leave but they will still have a strong side next season.

Re: Play offs
Shame.
"Wee Billy Davies" is a horrible little c**t.
Steve Howard is truly awful.
The only Derby player with an ounce of talent came on and won it.
WBA need a DM - too late now.
Have you ever seen a more gormless looking individual than Mowbray ?
If they'd given the job to Nigel Pearson they would have gone up.
They'll be no threat to us next season mind - all the good ones will leave.
Derby will get less points than we did unless there is serious investment.

Re: Play offs
Well done Derby !
Great job by Billy Davies, tbh i dont think its he amazign shock that everyone says it is. I thought early on in the season they could be around the play-offs and especially when you look at how much money he has spent then you would expect them to be up there. Still when you look at the competition for promotion it is a massive achievment and i think if they have more money to spend then they can have a good go at staying in the Prem. They have a young team and i think people like Barnes, Leacock, Mears, McEvely and Jones can improve and push the team on. The Premiership experiance of Oakley and Johnson will also be invaluable.

Re: Play offs
So its Chelsea, U*d, Arsenal and Liverpool, instead of Colchester, Blackpool and Scunthorpe. That sums up how big promotion to the Premierhsip is ,owe and £60m in the bank.
