It is pretty well known that:
    1) he doesn't want to go to Chelsea to warm the bench (he knows that's what going to happen if goes there)
    2) he loves PSV

I wouldn't mind see him leaving, but only he goes on to be a starter. A waste of pure talent if goes to sit on anyones bench. People like Terry and both him and Carvalho deserve their places at Chelsea, but Alex is simply better than both.

    There I said it.

I epxect a lot of clubs will be in the chase for him though?

Chelsea have an agreement with PSV to sign him for 50p though, it doesn't matter what other clubs are interested unless Chelsea sign him, then sell him

Yup - Until 2010 he is under contract at Ajax.

After spending around £17 million on Hargreaves I don't think Man Utd will move for Eto'o. Maybe Huntelaar will be a more suitable alternative.

Maybe once he improves his first touch and control he will be more suitable.

    ok

That will never happen...and that's indeed why I can't see him at Arsenal Ale

He's a formidable player though : a sort of a Hasselbaink, only faster and more unpredictable.

Janko, Maldini, Ambrosini & Seedorf all need replacing IMO. Perhaps Bonera could do a job however. Milan should go for Alex.

I have to say i disagree with the guys you've mentioned, unless you have based your assumptions solely on CL final performances Razz Seedorf has been very good this year, especially since he started playing in his natural position. Ambro has been good too,we won 3-4 matches with his goals and he ain't old, but he is injury prone i admit. However, i consider him as a very good squad player.

Janulovski has been good as well, but we could do better since he cant really defend. Not bad for the bench though. And Maldini isnt expected to play every game, due to the knee problems he cant play 2 in a row anyway, so i think we're going for a defender.

In the summer, i would be very happy with Buffon,Zambrotta,Toni and a CB. Ancelotti mentioned Mexes today, he would be a very good solution IMO. I hope we bring back Marzoratti and Pozzi too. Lino would be a good backup for Oddo and Pozzi has really impressed me this season, however i dont really think he could get much playing time with Ronaldo,Gila,Pippo and Oliveira ahead of him (assuming that Oliveira stays).

Do you think Gourcouff will start to push for a reg starting sport, or do you think that he will end up leaving? A year or two ago, he was being touted as the next Zidane, and to some extent still is, but he doesn't seem to get as much playing time as one might expect.

Would Toni partner Ronaldo or replace him? Would be a great partnership IMO. I don't think Zambrotta is realistic, he seems more settled at Barca now, and has only been there a season. Is Foggia still in the setup or has he left for good?

Btw when I said replace, I meant that they should perhaps not be reg first teamers now. I really think Milan need to freshen things up, and winning the CL has glossed over some of the obvious frailties and stagnation in the squad. If Kaka got injured this season, Milans season wouldn't have even left the ground.

Could he have been misrepresented? For example "I am happy at Barca, but Milan are a great club. I would like to play for them." That doesn't say when he would play for Milan. It could mean next season or after his contract ends. We don't know exactly what he said in total. Has he clarified it later?

This just gets better Laugh ok Laugh ok

Even when Inter win, they can't keep it together.

    Ibra wants Milan move!
    Sunday 27 May, 2007
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has approached Milan to ask for a transfer, hints Carlo Ancelotti. “Nobody would suspect him. If I reveal his name, it’ll be chaos…”

It was no secret that the Rossoneri were close to signing former Juventus man Ibra last summer, but because they had to wait until their Champions League preliminary round was completed to know their strategy, Inter got there first.

Now that he has been a key figure in the Nerazzurri’s Scudetto triumph and Milan are champions of Europe, there are claims he wants to move on.

“Many champions have approached us. They all want us now,” smiled Ancelotti in yesterday’s Press conference.

“That includes one player who is totally above suspicion. If I reveal his name, it’ll be chaos…”

The newspapers this morning all agree on one thing – that man is Inter hero Ibrahimovic.

Already linked with Real Madrid, the real reason for his contract renegotiation problems is a desire to cross the city like Ronaldo, Andrea Pirlo and Clarence Seedorf before him.

The Swede has reportedly asked for a substantial pay increase from the current £4m per season to at least £5.5m.

He also bitterly criticised the club this week, comparing them unfavourably to the disgraced Juventus side led by Luciano Moggi.

“My agent is currently negotiating a wage increase at Inter. I hope Massimo Moratti is as decisive now as when he signed me,” explained the former Ajax man.

“At Juve, they were a lot clearer on certain things. Moggi was removed because we won too much. It was all jealousy. When I arrived at Inter, the first thing I advised Moratti was to bring in Luciano and change their mentality. Luckily, we won anyway…

“They are two great teams, but that Juve had something more. There was a sense of cohesion that still isn’t present at Inter,” he told ‘Libero’ newspaper.

“Last year when someone played badly, the other teammates lifted him up. Here it is the opposite – whoever plays below par drags the rest of the squad down with him. Inter are still learning what it takes to be at the top.”

This transfer story could bring relations between the two ‘cugini’ to an all-time low. Matters are already extremely tense after the clubs insulted each other at a distance during their trophy celebrations.

I agree with you guys. I do not like the player. He is overrated and a brat; I don't want him.

BUT just to see look on Inter's faces, it may be worth it. We could then loan him to Catania or Siena for modesty lessons.

ok However, I must insist that you immediately desist from punishing Catania further by inflicting that tosser on them. They have suffered enough this season!

Besides I hear that Accrington Stanley has a vacancy in his position. If that loan doesn't sort him out nothing will.

By the way Forza, what do you think of Spinesi. I think he is a class act. His goal against you was technically superb. He had no right to score that. If Catania go down they will struggle to keep him, but I hope they survive as like Reggina they don't deserve to be in danger of relegation let alone relegated.

I agree with you, and he is relatively young (29)? I don't think Catania will go down tbh, and if they do I could see him move to Samp or Fiorentina, maybe not the big 4 yet.

He definitely needs regular football and is good enough to get it. Fiorentina may be a good shout. Hhe could develop further there wih UEFA Cup football and possibly a dark horse for honours. Without Calciopoli they would qualify for Champions League easily at Lazio's expense. Still can't understand why Lazio were treated so leniently?
