    I can't!! bounce

I finally got to sleep at three this morning, tonight will be even more horrendous! Biggrin

Such a massive game for us, we have to ERASE 2005, but not let it affect the psychology of the team, we need to completely control the tempo and rhythm of this match and impose early, we don't want to be a slave to Benitez.

What a feeling!!! What a match hopefully awaits us tomorrow!! Where is everybody watching this match? I'm not going up to London this time, i will have a house party and then watch the match with friends on our big screen.

I couldn't sleep Sunday night, but last night was fine. I woke up Monday and ran for about 75 minutes. That calmed the nerves, but I am very nervous.

However, I was more nervous for Italy vs France this past summer.

    Yo Forza

I wasn't nervous before the World Cup Final, i was far more nervous DURING that match though!

likewise i'm not nervous now, but very very excited! I shall go for an hours run tomorrow morning, practice some football and then meet back at my house.

I have all my Milan and Italy flags pinned up! The house looks quite a sight!!

Very excited now, can't wait!! bounce I've been too bloody excited to come on and post anything tactical about the match, but i think it suffices to say that we will face a fantastic and intelligent coach and a very well organised team

I am both nervous and excited. Excited for the match itself. Nervous because there is someone at work who relishes when Italy or Milan lose, and he really broke my balls to a great degree after Istanbul.

Honestly, if he wasn't a factor, then I would be only excited for this Final. Still, I am 70% excited, 30% nervous.

I couldn't. I can't even work now. I think I'll have to leave early today and smoke a pack just to calm my nervs. Today Steaua plays the last game of season (if we win will play in the CL) and then THE FINAL.

I feel weird and nervous. I don't think we'll win it - but I hope that we give a good account of ourselves.

    As I said in 2005

Give it your best shot lads - and win, lose or draw, YNWA.

Many people believe history repeats itself. We know what happened the first time Liverpool-Milan met. The Italiani were the formidable force, but were ambushed by the English.

Here's where it gets interesting, Boudica did the same to the Romans the first time. However, while Boudica's forces grew much stronger (like Liverpool), Suetonius' Romans weren't as formidable (like Milan). They eventually met for all the marbles, and the Romans even when outnumbered (we are told 20 to 1) crushed them, annihilated their enemies.

Them Romans were been forced out of England, but after defeating Boudica, remained there for over 350 more years. They only left the Isles because they were needed back home to fend off other enemies.

Who's to say Gattuso and company weren't reminded about Suetonius and his Roman ancestors? I've heard some coaches use history as motivation to fire up their players. It should be another classic. <Ale>
