It's a difficult decision indeed. But we have to look at it positively: This just shows that we have depth in our squad, excellent backups on almost all positions.

I agree on Baumann, but I probably would play Schulz against Barca again, he was one of our best players in the first match.

That's true, but the good think is we just need a draw at Nou Camp this time, so we perhaps should play more careful...

You can't really play 'carefully' against Barca. If you do that, you most probably lose.

We have to play to win, and try to put them under pressure from the beginning, take advantage of our strenghts. That's the only way to beat them, the only way to stand a chance at Nou Camp.

Yeah, but just needing a draw is also a big advantage we should use...maybe we can combine this somehow...

If you want a draw or a win then you HAVE to attack.. if you sit back we are going to slaughter you, since sooner or later we are going to find an opening in the defence. Also, if you allow us too much posession, by sitting back, you are going to get a lot of cards, maybe even a man sent off..

Actually, it would be against our 'nature' to play too cautiously, we simply can't do that, no matter against which opponent.
We may have a stable defence now, which allows us to grind out results better (if necessary), but our philosophy has always been attacking, attacking football is in our DNA really.

I expect us to try to win the match, try to create and use our chances, but not gung-ho style. We're pretty good at counter-attacking football as well, so maybe we can take advantage of a few bad passes, caused by the pressure we will put on your midfield from the beginning (hopefully).

The midfield will be the key in this match, just like in the first match.

    http://www.sport1.de/de/sport/artikel_624553.html

Bremens Top-Torjäger steht auf der Wunschliste von Europas Elite-Klubs.

35 million?? Well then you can count us out.. He is a bit too old to command that kind of fee, and he has only 1.5 years left on his contract.

Well, by reading this article from Sport1.de you could come to the conclusion Werder Bremen (currently) have a 35 million Euro bid for Klose. Not sure about that though. I think this article refers to an interview with Klose from today in which he (indirectly) confirmed that after the World Cup Bremen had offers for him between 25-35 million Euro...

We can't afford 35 million.. it is almost 10 million more than we paid for Dinho or Eto'o!!

I would love to see him at Barcelona but I doubt it will ever happen..

Even if he'd cost 3.5 million Euros, you will never buy him, because of the Dutch influence at your club. THANK GOD.

He won't cost 35 million Euros, because his contract ends in 2008, unless Chelsea joins, of course. But he won't be cheap, that's for sure.

Plenty of good German players out there, so I hope and pray that Cruyff doesn't block them.. as for Rijkaard, well he might not love Klinsi, but I think he is intelligent enough to recognise a good player.

Rijkaard always tries to be extra polite when he is in Germany, because he knows that the German fans have not forgotten that incident of the 1990 WC, when he spat at Rudi Völler.
Don't think that he'd be biased when it comes to German players, but who knows.

    the Sun is an insult

Bild is one of the best German newspapers; I would NEVER buy it, and quite a lot of their stuff is somewhere between fiction and "faction" , but it's the only German national daily that is entertaining , gutsy, mad and patriotic

    @ fey, Du Kaesekopf

this is obviously nothing but "Volksunterhaltung"

the Romans had "Brot und Spiele", we Germans have "Dutch vegetables/hormone-induced meat + the Bundesliga/Bild"

    it works like a treat

you cannot really dislike a paper with headlines like

    "Wir sind Papst"

    " Klinsi-Grinsi"

" Magath macht Schweini zur Sau" lol!
