If we consider penalties easy, then I'd suggest putting a disclaimer next to 90% of Ruud's goals as well, since they're *just* tap-ins.

positioning is key for ruud ok

Yeah for sure. I mean Ronaldo's performances during the World Cup or Kaka's Scudetto winning season don't count for anything.

Kaka is overrated on here. He's good, but some seem to think he's a God. Ronnie still has that title. ok

Well everyone has their own opinion? No doubt Kaka is a world class football player.

    Definitely.

But just like Totti is affected by the lack of Serie A coverage, Kaka's reputation in England (and hence on this board) is boosted by all CL games being covered, and that's generally where Kaka performs best.

Kaka and Ronaldo have been the two best players this season from what I have seen (Totti and Ibra were meant to be amazing in Seri A - they just need to start performing in non domestic games).

However, I think we can all agree Ronaldinho is still miles ahead of both of them.

Only in the sense that the majority of people here would say he's a better player than Ronaldinho.

Kaka is world class, I'm not disputing that. He's not as good as some make out however. Even the English pundits cream their pants over him, whereas they'll slate the likes of Totti repeatedly.

    Last 3 seasons

    Cristiano Ronaldo

    League: 31 goals ... 24 assists
    Europe: 3 goals ... 5 assists

    Total: 34 goals ... 29 assists

    Ricardo Kaka

    League: 29 goals ... 6 assists
    Europe: 17 goals ... 4 assists

    Total: 46 goals ... 10 assists

Kaka has had a good 3 seasons , but this is the 1st season Ronaldo has shown his true potential and has years on Kaka <Ale>

where did you get Kaka's stats from? are you saying he has 3 assists in the last 3 seasons? (including this season) if so, i don't think thats right!

Total 30 goals and 14 assists!!!

Was also the assist leader in the WC. Also suffered more fouls than anyone else in the CL, Serie A and the World Cup. 36 fouls against him in Cl alone, and his team went out in the quarters - that shows how much he is respected by other teams!!

Very under rated on this board. Twatti as a player is as good as it gets.

because basically, its saying, apart from this season, Kaka has had 1 assist in the last 3 seasons. I can think of 2 of the top of my head (Crespo against Pool and Ambro against PSV)
