Considering he's english they should have got at least £12m.

AND, a backwards career step for Parler. ODD

Probably Given - in hindsight he should've got it last season, he loves the club and would appreciate it. Taylor would be another contender, and i would be very tempted to give it to him. ok

SJP is a tough place to play, you need balls, that's why we see talented players fail, they don't have the balls to thrive under the pressure. Parker has just written his name on the list IMO alongside Jenas, Marcelino etc, probably in lipstick. <Ale>

    ---Benayoun----Parker----Barton---Boa Morte

looks a decent midfield , certainly one for challenge for Euorpe(uefa cup places) , Barton is more of a box to box so Parker will sit and Barton will have a chance to attack more.

West Ham needs to sort out the defence and attack to be in those place though.
    ----Green--- decent keeper.

    --Neill---Gabbidon----Upson-----new lb

    Neill-good player
    Gabbidon---good player
    Upson---not sure about upson---
    LB-surely mccartney isnt good enough

    Attack
Tevez-if tevez goes then replace him with quality like Anelka etc
    Ashton-a good player

Not so sure about the back up options of West Ham though out of the benchers
    Noble is a talent

    Etherington
    Harewood
    Zamora

    they arent good enough IMO.
Spector- neither is he but he can play across the back so a decent backup.

    and who else?

Midfield and its backup looks fine if they get Parker and Barton.

I think West Ham might be digging a (financial) grave for themselves with such high wages. Neill also chose West Ham over Liverpool for the ridiculously high wages.
You'll have a snowball effect: the players at the club demand more, and players going into the club will also want higher wages. West Ham will end up paying premium WC wages for slightly above average players.

Apparently Benayouns new contract is worth 60k a week aswell. Mental.

I always felt that the new TV deal and private investment in the PL would not increase the quality of the league but merely increase the transfer fees and wages of the players. These players are gonna be the same average players who will not take time adjusting to the PL put also will not take the teams to the next level. Buying theses average players will almost guarantee that the club will not get relegated and for most clubs they seem to be satisfied with this. I just hope they have a contingency in case they do a Leeds.

Parker will not be on 72k a week
Neill is on 40k a week not 60k...he chose us because Liverpool told him he'd be behind Finnan lol!

Yes Magnusson does know about football considering he was part of The UEFA Executive members...

It's not a mini-Chelsea is it? Our wage bill is one of the lowest in the Premiership and people think we are going into financial madness...

    10 million should get him

these high wages are clearly what is attracting everyone deano. west ham can probably give him twice as much as what everton are prepared to and no matter how much he likes being at everton this will make leaving them a lot easier

10 million deal and 50-60 grand a week could actually see this one happen

I don't know what to believe...Everton fans seem to think we've agreed a deal with them...and are discussing terms with Arteta now...

For all you know this picture could be when he was signing someone for Charlton...

Though I don't see why Everton fans would make up the speculation themselves...especially as some of them seem to think it's his agent...
