There's a story about Toni as your prime target this summer for you, on goal.com
i don't know how accurate is that information though.
What's funny, he is a joint top scorer in Bundesliga with amazing 14 goals.

Re: AC Milan 2007/08 Thread.
I just heard that we might be renewing Serginho's contract for another year!! Cafu, Maldini and Pippo will probably also continue. Ok, I wouldn't mind Pippo+Maldini for another year as backups but Serginho and Cafu,WTF???
Don't get me wrong, I really respect Milan's dedication to its players and the fact that they don't just dump them after their best years. If we bought some new players in addition to renewing their contracts I would be totally fine with this policy. However, I know what this means: no new(decent) players will arrive.
I'm preparing myself for another joke of a transfer campaign and an endless list of excuses by Uncle Fester after we "surprisingly" fail to reach our goals next season.

Pippo wants no attacking purchases.... he feels Milan have enuf strikers even without Ronaldo. Gila, Paloschi, Pato, Inzaghi & persumably Borriello. I think its a bit thin for a club of Milan's stature. IMO Milan need to take out at least of these guys (Gila or Inzaghi) and get 1 world class striker.

Well yea, because you can't rely on any of them to perform at the very highest level. Inzaghi is over the hill, Gila inconsistent, and Pato + Palo barely out of nappies.
They need a replacement for Seedorf, a new CB, GK etc too

Milan mourn the death of Rosario Lo Verde, who was president of the club from 31 January to 23 March 1986. The rossoneri, who participate in his family's sadness, remember Lo Verde as the president of the 'transition', the one who assigned the club to Silvio Berlusconi.

I really hope not. That would be a really disappointing move and a step back. We all know the team needs new faces that will take the club forward from here. I see no reason to renew their contracts it would not benefit Milan at all.

Then I am sorry, i will hope with all my heart that Milan doesnt take the 4º spot and stay way from CL next season, its the only way. Cafu, Emerson, Serginho, they HAVE to go.

I almost wish that too. It's really painful seeing every team trying to improve while at the same time our management is doing its best to ensure that our decline continues.

Berlusconi: Here is my cure for Milan, Lippi or Spalletti? Ancelotti stays and Sheva will return
Tuttosport(I know it's pretty much a rag but anyway):
Milan in a mess but Galliani thinks of Inter's Cesar
There you go guys. Here is the remedy to all our problems. Sheva, the has-been and Cesar the never-was. Let us all take a moment to congratulate our management for its vision and then rush to buy our season tickets, jerseys etc in order to put more money in their pockets so they can keep delivering super signings like Emerson, Favalli and now Cesar Aparecido.

Feel for you, mate. I think your CL qualification will have a lot to do with how much Milan spends in this summer. I doubt Berlu will spend too much money if Milan fails to make the CL...
Which I agree could be a very dangerous game to play... while Milan should make the top 4 next season without CL distractions, Juve and Fiorentina are sure to spend some money this summer if they make the CL.
Milan needs reinforcements, I just cannot understand how Berlu/galliani can't see something so obvious.

Plus Oddo is out for the season too and will probably miss Euro 2008 which is a shame even though he's been really inconsistent this season. I don't want to see Grosso/Panucci playing!
Don't worry though, there is still one more former Lazio player who can save you:

Re: AC Milan 2007/08 Thread.
Milan make £16m Dinho bid
Milan’s Ronaldinho swoop is gathering pace as after Adriano Galliani’s dinner with his agent, it’s claimed the club has offered £16m.
The Rossoneri have not disguised their renewed interest in the unsettled Barcelona star and Galliani met with agent Roberto Assis on Wednesday.
When asked about the rumours of a transfer, President Silvio Berlusconi did not hold back. “We live in hope,” he said, then made a gesture with his hand to suggest the deal was nearly done.
An injury has ended his season, so it seems as if Ronaldinho has played his final game for Barca, but there are other clubs interested too.
As Juventus, Inter and Chelsea are all tracking the former World and European Player of the Year, Milan intend to go straight to the source.
Under the FIFA rules, Ronaldinho could extricate himself from his Barcelona contract at a cost of just £10.5m.
However, the Rossoneri hope to get the club on side by refusing to take that route, instead offering a more substantial £16m.
This could give them the upper hand in negotiations, allowing both the player and clubs to reach an amicable agreement.
It remains an absolute bargain for Milan, considering last year the price-tag requested was £40m.
However, it must also be noted that he is reportedly requesting a four-year contract worth £6.3m per season, vastly increasing the economic burden of this operation.
Other clubs are looking to a different approach, as it is claimed Inter chief Massimo Moratti is aiming to get Nike in on the deal.
Juventus are also interested, as are Chelsea, so the race for Ronaldinho is on.
Could be BS rumours though.

Out: Dida, Cafu, Digao, Favalli, Simic, Brocchi, Gourcuff, Ronaldo
In: Amelia/Frey/Boruc, Zambrotta, Barzagli, another young CD, Ronaldinho, Amauri/Drogba
I am starting to think Ronaldinho would be a good investment. He could play where Seedorf plays or, if we play with one DM in Ambro, where Gattuso plays.
I have a feeling our three signings this summer will be Zambrotta, Ronaldinho and Shevchenko. I wouldn't mind Sheva ONLY IF that doesn't mean no other striker. We need a Drogba or Amauri type striker.
Zambrotta coming in would open up our options big time because he can play either side of the defence.

My hopes for the transfer campaign,
OUT: Dida, Favalli, Simic, Cafu, Serginho, Brocchi,
IN: Frey, Barzagli, Lucio, Zambrotta, Juan Vargas, Maresca, Moutinho, Amauri, Toni.
Unlikely, except on football manager games but we live in hope that Uncle Fester will have a rush of blood and open big Papa's checkbook!
