Bluenine....I suggest in your list you should include names that are confirmed in one way or the other. For example Saviola & Bojinov are still not confirmed(100%) that they will leave. It should not matter if they are very likely. Same goes for Pizzaro of Bayern

Nothing to do with who is top or better... just didn't want to track dutch clubs coz their aquisitions are not that exciting (ie big money).

Bojinov is confirmed.
Someone mentioned that so is Saviola, so I put him in.
I agree with you, so if Pizarro is not 100%, lets remove him.

Sevilla > Liverpool, Inter, Milan, Juve, Bayern, Lyon, Arsenal, Valencia, and Roma.
Its an odd list tbh, does a club have to be G14 to be included?

Its not a criteria list dude, just a list of big clubs I wanted to track...
if you wanna track the transfers of any other big club, let me know... i will include it... just don't want to have too many names here

G14 will most likely be folding soon. Its come under severe critisism from some of the top names at UEFA.

Thats like saying the US government will dissolve because it's getting criticised by Osama bin Laden. UEFA exists to extend its own power and the G14 is an obstacle to that - of course they criticise them.
Platini's recent comments are (as usual) beyond belief.
'Please disband your organisation so I can implement more of my ridiculous ideas without opposition and ruin football.'
UEFA = dickheads.

I thought that there were talks to expand it soon, including the likes of Chelsea, and the Old Firm teams amongst others.

My New York-Miami connection people generally have the scoop way before anyone else. I still think Pizarro would've been a MONSTER playing for the Mancs, teaching Rooney the secrets of football, how to "play" the game. Cristiano, Rooney, Pizarro would've been lethal in the EPL. Them three complement each other like a dream.
I don't know how he'll do at Chelsea, but I'm sure he'll give everything he has. ALL PERUVIAN COJONES!

That's the most likely scenario Kimbo. Jose will bring him in slowly getting his feet wet gradually. I'm sure Jose knows Pizarro always exploded in season number two in all the teams he played.
You know I support Newcastle in the EPL. What now Kimbo? I'm torn.

Disagree, if we did that we would only have 1 striker for about 6 weeks in early 2008. Would be pretty stupid.
Maybe we will sell Sheva back, but we would have to buy another striker were that to happen.

Abramovich did say we would cut the spending.
We have (almost) bought a complete squad now. Just need Alex and a RB imo.

I read an afterview from alex during the week saying he can't wait to get started for chelsea which sort of implies that he is already certain to arrive this summer
Id be surprised if roman didn't pull one big signing out of the bag though

Apparently José really doesn't want Alex - he compiled a DVD to show the board of why we shouldn't sign him now.

Can you see Alex and Terry at CB and Carvalho at RB? Carvalho certainly has the technique and pace to play there.S4P2 wrote:bluenine wrote:

Alex >>>>>>>>>> Boulahrouz.
I wouldn't be surprised to see a swap deal done with PSV. We get Alex and Boula goes back to his homeland.
Although I'd prefer to keep Boula, just in case Terry and Carvalho (or Alex) are injured at the same time. I can't stand another season/run of games with Essien at CB.

Interesting point. This could be a possibility, although I don't think Carvalho would get forward (then again Ashley Cole doesn't go much beyond the halfway line, although this is imo due to his lack of ability to cross from the byeline).
@ hardrada
The only reason I can think of why JM wouldn't want Alex is due to it disrupting the Terry-Carvalho partnership which when fit, was superb. We still need another CB though and Alex is the obvious choice.

Why would they want to field their best CB (and arguably one of the most talented CBs in the world) as a RB?? Doesn't make sense.
If Alex comes, Mourinho will just start rotating the 3 CBs, there are too many games to play anyways.
For RB, I think Chelsea might buy one.
