Kalou is deceptively good in the air. He's over 6'. My point was that their style might well change. Villa is a support striker in a different mould. He isn't good in the air but he uses the channels and likes to do work in behind the midfield

He's 22. In his last season in Holland he got over 20 goals and in his first EPL season he got 7 goals mostly as a sub. Even if you think that, you can surely acknowledge that its not a problem for Chelsea. Next summer they could seel Drogba and go and buy Villa AND Berbatov

Lampaio cited Alenichev as an example of one of Porto's more exciting players which says it all really.

Deco became a star in that team - he's comfortable with players who become stars under him because that satisfies his ego but he can't handle a superstar.

Sheva is a player who is willing to smash his face to win a header so its not like there is a commitment issue.

i said earlier this week, that he had an autocratic style and that it was fine when things were going well but that when it started to not work it tends to fall apart pretty quickly its exactly what happened. obviously a control freak, its obvious he tells players what to do in every circumstance and they are not allowed to think for themselves which is in complete contrats to wenger who wants his players to work it out for themselves so they can adapt to different circumstances

It takes less than 1 minute to say anything on the subject. Considering a manager who has won the prem in 2 of the last 3 seasons doesnt get sacked every week i doubt it would be to difficult to say a few words on him. That and the press conferences are 30 minutes of pointless Cr@p anyway, hardly wasting time that could have been used better elsewhere.

Chelsea are really odd, sacking a manager who reached 2nd place and semi finals in the CL, then sacking a manager who won 2 EPL titles, A FA Cup, couple of CC's and a charity shield not to mention successive CL Semi finals.

Mourinho's achievements are to be sniffed at. I've always found him funny on most occassions what most people forget is that all he does is divert the attention from the players and onto him self, he's done it since his Porto days, allowing his players to relax and focus on football.
