yeah he's a wanker...I'm sure most people knew that already...

We are 1 point ahead, and we both have tough fixtures...

They have Everton, Liverpool and Man Utd all away yet...not sure who their home games are...

We have Chelsea and Liverpool at home, and Everton away...so will go down to the wire.

Silly c**ts were lucky the other week...if we'd have had one decent striker fit, this thread would be history...

Redknapp may be a w*nker, but he's done a bloody good job.

I was very unsure when he took over, and despite finding his comments pretty hilarious ("2PFEG etc"),

to be where we are now is a credit to the work he's done.

We spent a lot of money in January, but it has been money well spent. This can't always be said of his predecessors, so fair play to him.

Still think West Ham will finish above us - we have a tough run in with Everton, United and Liverpool all away.

However, as it stands, wouldn't be surprised to see Fulham grab the 7th place spot - and to be fair they would deserve it. Hodgson has done an astounding job there

Well, whoever finishes 7th clearly deserves it...Fulham deserve it no more than any of us who are up there...The job Zola has done has been just as good, if not better. Ok, he has better players to work with...but Fulham have tons of money to spend...and until we sort this thing out with the Icelandic banks...Zola won't...

    The remaining fixtures are:

    WEST HAM:
    Chelsea (H)
    Stoke (A)
    Liverpool (H)
    Everton (A)
    Middlesbrough (H).

    FULHAM:
    Stoke (H)
    Chelsea (A)
    Aston Villa (H)
    Newcastle (A)
    Everton (H).

    TOTTENHAM:
    Manchester Utd (A)
    West Brom (H)
    Everton (A)
    Man City (H)
    Liverpool (A).

You have spent tons of money in the last few years. Lawrie Sanchez blew about £25m on rubbish didn't he? In the summer you spent £6m+ on Zamora and Pantsil...spent about £10m? On Andy Johnson etc...

Scaremongering from journalists. Most debts are the type that Al Fayed has put into the club for tax purposes I'm told. Our wage bill is relatively small

West Ham spent 11m on that kid from Brescia. Both clubs have sold players to finance new transfers. But I don't think Fulham have anywhere near "tons of money to spend", even if speaking in purely relative terms compared to West Ham.

Fulham hardly sold anyone to fund they're transfers.

West Ham have under Zola made a net PROFIT.

Redknapp is a mong for those comments he made, as good a job as he has done.

3 of those games are definitely winnable for us.

Man City are terrible away, and West Brom might be down by the time we face them.

As for Everton - maybe they'll have a top 6 place wrapped up by then and will just be on auto-pilot as they head towards the cup final. Besides, we have a good record up at Goodison.

I don't fear the big 2, seeing as have only lost 1 in 5 matches against them this season, but I do fear the referees.

Bullard was sold for 5m, albeit after their summer transfer activity. Plus like Khadrim says, their wage budget is probably much smaller than West Ham. We all remember the Lucas Neill 60k a week stories when he rejected Liverpool to go to West Ham instead.

True but that only in the last couple of years and our stinginess in the January is a better indication of our finances. Al Fayed has been hit by the credit crunch as much as anyone else.

No...it was more like £8m Kas...and even that's with clauses I think. We olsd Bellamy for more than that (at least £10m).

Fulham have barely sold anybody...who would they have had to sell? Bullard went afterwards, so you can't even include that one...

What is happening with Iceland I thought the country was bankrupt and they would sell everything they own, but nothing seems to have happened.

Man City and Wigan are perhaps still in with a shout of 7th. Even Stoke(!) could sneak in with a very good run-in - interestingly, they still have Fulham, WHam and Wigan to play, 2 of them at home. Win all them and they could be in the mix.

WHam have hard fixtures, and may do no better than draws in their next few. Spurs have 2 winnable home games but 3 tough away trips. Fulham's are also tricky. Wigan play mainly relegation battlers while City have 3 away games, which probably puts them out of the running.

Fulham have spent a vast amount of money over the last 2/3 years...Fulham have never been a poor club. We spent alot 1 season ago...that was it.
