His English is even worse, he is translating Dutch sayings literally. He did that everywhere he went though. I guess its funnier when you speak Dutch. He could have said its an All or Nothing game..but he went for the Death or the Gladioli option.

Catching sharks are no fun they're just a dead weight on the end of a line, anti climax. Blue Marlins are a blast. Least they were 30 years ago. Very Happy

So we've reached an agreement with Schneiderlin... I watched all of our games vs Soton last season and the season before but I failed to notice him... So, can someone please tell me what is he good at? Will he be a great addition for us?

He is good at running and breaking play, decent passer, could work on his scoring, as he's aften find himself in decent position. In theory should make a good combination with Schweinsteiger or Carrick, as them playing together against high level competition would be even worse combination than Schweini and Xabi Alonso.

Schneiderlin in offcial....HHH out, also offcial! Fuckin Fenerbahce. Oh well, two more years of Turkey and then he will return home as well.

Apperantly he had a falling out with LVG!

Easily the best striker the EPL ever had!!

What a cool picture though, shame about Blind being on it.

I still dont think its enough to go for the title. Also van Gaal is now a buying coach, which was never his strength.

Agree with van Gaal struggling as buying coach, his time in Barcelona (despite winning domestic titles) and 2nd (?) season in Alkmaar proved that.

    It's decent looking XI, but:
    1) They still want high profile centre forward after selling HSWHW, so it would relegate Rooney to wing.
    2) They still need one top quality centre back.

I don't think replacing De Gea would be a huge issue - Lloris would be good enough and even de Gea doesn't behave like someone who is trying to force a transfer.

Nope, I think it's Real Madrids.

Edit: Maybe it is then, it seems United's cost over half a billion. affraid

But a lot of it was spent on shite, Madrid's team is still much stronger.

Thing is under Fergie, we used to get the Brit flavour of the year and that was it, but these last two years have been outrageous in spending. And f**k all to show for it. So much failure in that list, its like Liverpool are SPurs.

Also if 8m is your cheapest signing...you need new scouts!

Not better than Van Nistelrooy. Or Bergkamp.

I'll remember RVP in the Tore Andre Flo category. Other notable players in that group include Paolo Di Canio, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, Ian Wright. Very decent but not in the Henry/Aguero/Shearer/Sheringham/Kane category.

Our best striker pairing in my time that.

To think we had both of them at the same time as Yakubu.. Now we have Kike and only Kike.

There was a poll recently, think Viduka just missed out on the striker spot. Went to Ravanelli with Juninho behind him.

    Your point Kimmy?

HSWHW did won Utd the title when the EPL was in its prime, well kinda downhill already but still. Bergkamp and Hasselbaink were pretenders the shitty EPL from back in the day made them look better then they actually were.

HSWHW was just godlike a few season, both at Arsenal and Man utd with shitty squads for their standards
