There is a funny thread on Sunderland's messageboard, they were sure this guy was signing for them, there was a big long thread, rumours he was flying into the north east etc etc, then this afternoon it turns out it is Newcastle. Smile

Yes. Strange middle name for an African.

Apparently the Benalouane stuff was bullshit, so we might still get a FM wonderkid(Yanga-M'Biwa please).

You don't mind that I call him Rodney? I know his name is Pappi, and I'm not calling anyone 'Pappi'. My missus calls me that.

It was getting confusing a bit with both being Demba and there's a shit load of players named Cissé too. Biggrin <Ale>

I don't think it does mean we're selling Ba, we were always after another forward. We spent all summer trying to get Erding, failed, then went for Maiga and failed, tried again but he failed a medical, and that brings us to Cisse.

Never seen him play but he's meant to be really good isn't he?

Newcastle for top 4? If they finish above Liverpool then it will make the Carroll transfer even worse Laughing

It would be a bit like the way Barca funded Inter to buy half of there team with the Ibra transfer,Barca got Ibra and Inter got Eto with enough money to buy Motta,Lucio,Pandev,Milito and Sneijder.

Only for Inter to stop them being the first team to retain the CL Doh

Yeah sounds like they are overvaluing a 25 year old championship player, £4m is what they are rumoured to want. We got a starter for France for not much more than that. Erm
