not really true though, but by the time the inaccuracies of any comparison are ironed out any debate on the subject descends into half arsed sweeping statements and the fallback 'Kenny is untouchable'
Dalglish got the job in January because of his history, he kept the job in the summer because of the teams performances under him. His record is better than Hodgson's.

shhh! We aren't allowed to praise Dalglish. We're only at one cup final, still in the FA cup and 4 points from 4th in February despite aspiring to mid-table under Hodgson.
