seems like yet another manager who's suffered for getting the club promoted.
crazy how quickly clubs change manager these days. only 7 managers in the whole football league who've been at their club over 3 yrs. and only 3 that have had over 4 years.

FFS? With the farmer you'd have won 4-0, with no manager you'll probably win 7-0.Romford Pele wrote:And we have them this weekend. FFS!

Is it really that shocking though? Not that I agree with how quickly teams change their managers.debaser wrote:seems like yet another manager who's suffered for getting the club promoted.

Wenger and Fergie have constantly said that they wouldn't get the sort of time they had initially nowadays.

it's not shocking. but it seems v.harsh to give up on the manager who got you promoted after just 8 games.Romford Pele wrote:Is it really that shocking though? Excluding playoffs, Holloway only won two of his last 18 games. Maybe it was warranted. Still, not sure who they can get in to do a decent job with all that tripe.

No one will keep that squad up, even during the summer it felt like they were preparing for 2014/15 in the championship.

reading this makes a lot more sense of Holloway exit:
http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2013/oct/23/ian-holloway-crystal-palace-resigned
doesn't sound like he'd be wanting to jump straight into another job either, boro.

Yeah I'd read some quotes a few hours later.. Sounds like he's totally fed up with the game.

Palace are apparently 'keen' on Pulis They don't deserve that. An awful man whose team play awful football.

Hiring a proper football coach isn't going to help them stay up though, Pulis and his dirty tricks might.

That's exactly what he'll be coming into do, to keep them up. However I think it may be too late to save them now.
