Why is Neville even in the England squad?
McClaren dropped Beckham because he is 31 and is past his best, he think that by the next Tournaments in 2 years and another in 4 years Beckham will be too old to feature... i think the same should be with Gary Neville as he is 31, past his best and won't play in Euro 08 or WC 2010 so why keep him now if he is not in our plans for the future?

Richards & Young are so much younger & quicker than Gary Neville that i think it is their turn to be given a chance!

Gary Neville you have played in WC98, EU00, WC02, EU04 & WC06... now its time to give another RB his chance!

Im not mocking man united players, King is better than Ferdinand and has more of a future and Neville is soo past it! Noticed how i put Foster, Carrick & Rooney in the team and i only put Crouch & Gerrard in it? I could of said Pennant, Anderson, Carra, Lindfield & Carson but i never did

Any future that has Crouch in the side is a team I don't look forward to watching.

bit early to be calling for sir gary's head as of yet purely because the replacements are too young... however if he keeps on performing as he did yesterday offering absolutly nothing going forward except the setting up of opposition attacks then his time will soon be over

Crouch looked like the most likely to score yesterday! Ferdinand is not better than King and JT is captain he wont be dropped!

You can't look at these players like Neville & Ferdinand now as they have passed their peaks, you got to think how they will do in a couple of years time, but for sure Richards, Agbonlahor & King will get better than what they are already!

Not in a horrible way but Neville & Rio won't get no better and Richards & King are already better than the both of them and will keep on getting better!!!

How is Rio past his best when he was our best player in the World cup only 3-4 months ago???

Neville I can understand people questioning because of his age but he's not showing signs of age yet and is still getting forward and providing crosses and there is no one close to him yet. Sure there are some promosing players but none will be ready till after Euro 2008.

if you had just watched the highlights you would have thought he had a brilliant game.. part of the problem though was he was getting in rooney's space and rooney was getting in lampard's space and nobody was up front which sort of ruined the whole team

you are too harsh on ferdinand... he'll still be a great player for the forseeable future.. england have some great centre backs so this isnt a problem area

the problem with neville despite some man u fans trying to tell us otherwise is he is poor going forward however he is still as good defensively as any right back in the country... you have to make sure you get to the euro 2008 before anything else

rio best player last two tournaments, hargreaves did well but played 2 of 5 games.
neville is better than young, richards isnt ready yet. id prefer brown over neville for man utd, neville when defending allows the attacker to get momentum to much always backing away, and brown better attacking also, but neville captain isnt going to happen so i dont talk about it, isnt a better right back otherwise for england.
