    Brazil 2 - 2 Chile

cuntish referee "invents" 2 penalties for Chile and gets what he deserves.

poor coach Nelson Rodrigues was forced to substitute some crappy players due to suspensions. so we've had the good luck to have Tchô and Fagner from the start. 1st half has just finished. brazil 3 - 0 uruguay. for the first time in this tournment, Brazil is playing like Brazil. our defense is still horrible though.

Inter's 16-yer-old Alexandre Pato is a true craque. mark my words, he will be the Best Player of the World as soon as he settles in Europe. he's more than excelent.

Wow, that's some praise. I've also heard many great things about him, but unfortunately I missed the World Club Cup final against us...looking forward to seeing more of him in the future ok

but he didn't play well in Japan.

I'd say his style is somewhere between Kaká's and Ronaldinho's. not that he's already as good as them, far from it. but it seems that he'll be a great player.

I've heard he's worth 20 million euros now after Internacional renewed his contract. it may seem too high, but I guess he might prove himself to be a good investment.

Alexandre Pato is incredible. The kid is fast, skillful, finishes well with both feet, good passing, excelent on the air. And he is just 17.

    Tchovchenko must be a starter!

Which players from Brazil and Argentina are likely be called up for the Olympics?

    Brazil -

    Bruno (Flamengo) - Excellent Gk.
Lucas (Gremio) - Golden Ball of the last Brazilian League. Good player, a little bit overhyped IMO.
    Diego (Werder Bremen)
Alexandre Pato - 17 yo only. Excellent prospect. Very, very talented.
    Marcelo (Real Madrid)

    Argentina

    Ustari (Independiente) Solid Goalkeeper
    Messi
    Aguero
    Gago
    Higuain

    Add more players.

Argentinian players play for some of the biggest clubs in Europe. Do you think that they have a big advantage over Brazil?

Unfortunatelly Brazil didn't qualify for the last Olympics. The squad would be very strong:

    Gomes

Dani Alves - Luisao - Alex - Adriano

    Rochemback - Dudu Cearense

    Diego - Kaka

    Robinho - Adriano
    Calidad

Wow, what a team for Brazil. All except Rochemback and Dudu playing for very big and successful clubs in Europe.

Also, what is the opinion of Ustari in Argentina? Barcelona are very interested in him, for about 10 million euros, and I think we might end up signing him this summer.

    Maxwell is not young enough.

I forgot about Anderson. I don't know how he is doing at Porto, but he will be called up surely. Brazilian squad is lacking quality and talent.

I've seen Ustari a couple of times and he was really solid. Valdez improved a lot over the past two seasons, but he is not World Class. If Valdes has a dip in form, Ustari would be the ideal replacement and I'm sure he would grab his chance.

I doubt he will be back before the Chelsea game, or peraphs the second leg.

Renteria played well for Inter, scored some important goals, but he had injury problems last season.

How Anderson was doing at Porto before his injury?

BTW Porto signed the Brazilian U20 defender Eliesio. He is a crap.

    k, thanks.

Excelent, he was the main star along with Quaresma.

It is a loan from Cruzeiro(i think) to pay for the loan of Leandro(to another Brazilian team whose name i do not recall), he will be loan to a weaker team and reavaliated after it. (this is so confusing but there is no other way to put it Laughing )

I guess this is the most appropriate place to post this right now...apparently Barca are interested in striker Mauro Boselli of Boca Jrs., mainly to strengthen our B team and see if he has the quality to become a first team player in the future. Anyone know more about him?
