Pizarro has added some variety in their attacks, as expected, but not enough. Bayern lacked a creative attacking midfielder all season, they can't replace Schweinsteiger in addition to that also.
Besides, it must be said, Hitzfeld got the tactics wrong by playing Ottl on the wings. He understood it himself by bringing Santa Cruz in the second half. Still, too late it seems. Görlitz would have made much more sense on the wings, for example.
P.S.: Van Bommel is doing well, but he needs a creative partner, can't do it alone in the midfield. Hargreaves is disappointing tonight.
