Man Utd goal: Dimitar Berbatov puts the league leaders in front with his 22nd goal of the season. He slots home with his right foot after collecting a pass from the lively Nani but replays suggest the Bulgarian may well have been offside.

Lovely play from Nani to set up the goal, but Berbatov was unquestionably offside.

West Brom goal: Fabulous work from Peter Odemwingie, who finds Paul Scharner with his precise cut-back from the right and the Austrian steers in his first-time shot at the near pots. The Baggies have been behind twice... now they are ahead.

1633: GOALFLASH Sunderland 2-3 West Brom (Scharner)

    Chortle!!

Interesting that Muntari and Sessegnon started on the bench, apparently they've not impressed since signing for them. Muntari was always going to be guff but Sessegnon did worry me.

I bet they regret giving Mr Potatohead that new contract in february.

I SAW that coming to the racist c**t! I called it in February that the twat was about to enter the gauntlet. As a manager, I wait to see how he handles the heat, a bit of pressure. I KNEW that racist c**t was gonna melt, but the Sunderland management gave him a contract extension for beating the Blackpools, West Hams, Blackburns... lol!

He didn't win them games either, it was the players for Sunderland have some talent, but the racist c**t is wasting them players's careers with his racism.

EVEN Capello doesn't rate that racist asshole. Bent gladly left for Aston Villa, and Capello picked him for England right away. What a slap in the face to that racist c**t! Capello SCREAMED "I don't rate you as a coach". lol!

The racist c**t has wasted Bent, Da Silva, Angeleri, Riveros, Al-Muhammadi, Muntari, Gyan...he doesn't have a clue how to get the most out of these talented players. His racist ass won't let him, never, never, never in the life. Biggrin <Ale>

If Arsenal are given that clear penalty, and that's yet another loss. He's lucky that Fergie's refs helped him (well actually Slur Alex's helping himself since Arsenal were seeing as his immediate challenger, so they proceeded to fuck the Gunners) by not calling that stonewall PK against his racist ass.

Look Kimbo bro, another of Slur Alex's cocksuckers ahem! friends, is McCunt from Birmingham, and he also benefits from a Slur Alex's friendly ref like today's offside goal for Birmingham. You see those cocksuckers aren't gonna win anything, their job is to fuck up Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Citeh...the most immediate danger to Slur Alex.

Berbatov was a half yard OFFSIDE, but Fulham needed to be opened up with a Manc goal or else Slur Alex's team can't score for shite since they are pussy-football united, and THEY NEED the space. That's why their refs opened Fulham up with that offside goal. I KNOW how corrupt the BPL is, Kimbo bro. I KNOW!

Berbatov was offside, but it was marginal, so much so that he was back onside when he received the ball. Man Utd were all over Fulham, and they almost never fail to win at Old Trafford against a team managed by one of Fergie's buddies. The decision did not really affect the result.

By contrast, in Chelsea's game a Wigan player was clearly onside when he was running clear through on goal, but was given offside, thus preventing a likely goal. On top of that, Chelsea's goal was a blatant foul on the keeper, the sort of decision that always goes the keeper's way (unlike the Berbatov offside) and yet it was given as a goal, the only one in the match, thus critically affecting the result.

But don't let the facts get in the way of a good conspiracy theory. Let's all just keep on pretending that every decision goes Man Utd's way, that everyone else gets shafted by referees, and that even marginal decisions going Utd's way are part of an elaborate plot by the powers that be.

I dont quite understand how Puro can come to the conclusion that Steve Bruce is a racist...he's brought over so many foreigners to the league..plays lots of foreigners in his side..and will no doubt continue to do that.

He may well be a dodgy manager, but he aint no racist.

Puro on the other hand, definitely has AIDS. Swings and roundabouts.

Everyone can laugh at us for our goalkeeping situation, rightly so - should never have persisted with Almunia for this long but, all three of your goalkeepers injured at one time! Goalkeepers! That must be unlucky.

    -Save a penalty
    -Get sent off
    -Get injured
    -Pick a fight with someone

I'll be disappointed with anything less than 2 out of 6..

The German told referee Lee Mason in the tunnel beforehand (with a smile) "you have to protect pensioners".

Debaser - I'm expecting at least one mad dash off his line.

Arshavin wastes a great chance after Kingston came off his line and left the goal exposed.
    ____________

Diaby scores a tap in. CLose offside call against van Persie but it went in his favour. Blackpool play such a dangerous offside line, there have been a few close calls already.

Two great chances for Nasri. The first smothered, the second cannoning off the outside of the post. Cesc is playing like a quarter-back in this match. So many driven passes or dinked balls over the defence. He is rarely as direct as this, but it reflects the lack of pressure from the Blackpool midfield and their dodgy defensive line.

Linesman is getting a lot of stick for not raising his flag more, but he seems to be getting most calls correct. Including one to rule out a van Persie goal just now.
