Makaay signs for Feyenoord

After the signing of Klose and Toni it was well known Makaay would leave Bayern and he has apparently signed for Feyenoord.

I think he will be a great signing, im sure he will bang in the goals and its good to see Feyenoord bringing in a few good signings after Van Bronkhurst re-signed for them yesterday. The question is can they challenge PSV, Ajax and AZ next season ?

Feyenoord are surely in top bracket of transfers this year.

Makaay, Gio, Bruins, Slory, Hofland, deCler. There RB is still a bit weak and there strenght in depth in defence and attack is doubtfull but they are doing very good busniss.

The question is....can the other 3 keep up with us? PSV looks weaker, AZ only buys young players and the jews havent signed anyone yet.

For your information , Ajax have purchased some signings (in May)

plus with certain individuals looking to stay

I'm not fussed about signing anyone unless its required

Only De Cler is a LB..Gio will play on the midfield where he belongs,same as Drenthe!

Congrats on getting Makaay. My fave Bayern player the last few years.

Feyenoord fans, now that the transfer is done, can you please inform us how much you paid for Makaay? Rumours say definitely less than 5m EUR, which infuriates Bayern fans even more.

He had a Feyenoord clausule in his contract like Gio. So we paid nothing!!! Nahh I believe we paid 4,5 million for him. Now try to buy an EPL for that

Whatever, the best thing about Makaay is his character. He could have moved to us, but he didn't want to move to another Bundesliga club, out of respect for his current club I assume, and because he wanted to go back home, of course. That's what the "new" Klose (must be his retarded new agent and his influence) will never have.

Makaay is a class act both on and off the pitch. Don't believe those ridiculous scenarios Otto were thinking about.

I think it's more of a case of transfers happening despite Bosz, not because of Bosz...
