Like I wrote earlier, Ibson was just a rumour in the foreign press, the German press didn't even mention him. chrissi just loves him it seems, and would love us to sign him.
The Carlos Alberto deal is still not officially confirmed , so I'll wait with the celebration. But thank you regardless.
@supermadrid
Andreasen will stay, and he definitely is not wasted here at all. We never intended to sell him, we just wanted to give him match practice in Mainz, that's why we loaned him out. I know that he was not very happy about his situation here, his lack of playing time, but he had a meeting with Schaaf and Allofs recently, and the differences were settled. He is an important player for us, a player for the future and the heir to our captain Baumann, and he most definitely will get much more playing time next season, because Schaaf wants to rotate anyway.
He played in all pre season test matches so far, for example, and did exceptionally well, scoring a lot of goals (and he is a defensive midfielder even).
I posted an interview of him earlier in this thread, where he says that he wants to establish himself here now, and take the next step. There is no point in running away from the challenge, he definitely has the potential to be a starter at a top club like Bremen.
P.S.: Hamburg could not afford him even if they wanted to. Schalke and Leverkusen were seriously interested, but we refused their offers. Not that he'll have an easier time in Schalke either. Andreasen is old enough now, he has to take the challenge.
