We got screwed there - only £7.5m and no agreement on Benayoun. We should have forced a deal for Benayoun+ cash, given the interest in Bellers from other clubs.

Agreed, but £7.5m was the lowest price that I saw being bandied around in the last few weeks and other clubs were interested.

Bellamy wouldn't of gone back to Blackburn I dont think, they clearly were just a stepping stone onto bigger and better things, it didn't work at a big club, Liverpool, so he chose to join a team who's future now looks bright and where he will get first team football, I think it's a good deal for us, Bellamy and West Ham.
