P.S.: Nice to see that the Hannover players are fair sportsmen, and say that Real has just begun with their pre season preparations, because the Spanish league starts later, and that this is a major advantage they had over them, since they have been training for a while already.

Nobody is taking the result too seriously.

I hope we do, there's been a bit too much talk from the players in the newspapers and websites, and little work on the pitch.

Sneijder is held hostage at Ajax and you don't want to pay for Drenthe.

Both will leave after next season though.

Forget the Dutchies (especially the midget, as if you are not lightweight already), you need some GERMAN (Panzer) STEEL in the midfield. You know what to do... Razz

With Metzelder playing, you would not have lost. Razz

Metze would not have allowed Lauth (!!!!!) to score that header at least.

You have to know, Lauth is like the most harmless striker in the league....

I'm very happy we lost Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

The euphoria from the players and press about how comfortable they are with schuster and his "attacking" style was getting cheesy, and cause a lack of concentration and hard-work in my opinion. Also clouding the weaknesses the team has. This is just my opinion of the situation.

    Thank you Hannover.

Don't think so. Schuster wanted to see how good your backups really are today, because you will have up to 70 matches next season, and he will rotate, like he said in quite a few interviews already. He now has clearly seen that there still is a lot of work to do, and that you need to sign some additional players for sure.

Aww, no, don't worry. I was close to dropping off and staying away from the boards for at least a little while, but alas, tonight's game just served to remind me why I joined them in the first place.

Thankies! Didn't watch much of it, to be honest, though, mainly because I'm used to games against big teams where 'we' are in the lead until the 89th minute when someone (usually Owen Hargreaves) scores the equaliser. Good to hear that they were doing well, however. Smile

    He even scored. Smile

Didn't do much more, though, according to one match report and wasn't exactly dangerous in front of the goal otherwise.

Oh, and Pavel Pardo had to have stitches after colliding with another player. Doh Just what we needed.
