Real Madrid must up their offer for Feyenoord wing-back Royston Drenthe.
Feyenoord have rejected Real's latest £5 million bid for Drenthe and are now insisting on at least £8 million for the U21 Holland international.
Real sports chief Pedja Mijatovic intends to make an improved offer this week, well aware that Drenthe's agents have been speaking to rivals Chelsea in recent days.

Robinho is excited about working with new Real Madrid coach Bernd Schuster.
Ahead of tonight's Copa America final in Venezuela, the Brazil international midfielder said: " Schuster likes his football to be entertaining and that is good, it will also excite the fans at the Bernabeu. With him on the bench, Getafe played this way and hopefully we can succeed with that style of soccer.
"I am happy, I have taken care of myself and next season I hope to finish in the same way as the last one, that is to say, playing well and scoring goals."
