I don't understand how the premierleague can make West Ham change a contract between themselves and MSI, without MSI's permission - and they MUST have done it without MSI's permission as they would never agree to this, and if they had agreed to it they wouldn't have a leg to stand on and would've backed down by now, surely?! I think WHU and the premierleague have done something wrong and it will get found out in court - that is my prediction.

It's all very interesting, and yet very boring at the same time, like an episode of Daziel and Pascoe.

I'm convinced there's a collusion between West Ham and the Premier League (just the shady characters who want to get a cut of the deal).

I just want to know WHO was gonna get "his" cut from an inminent sell to the Mancs. Someone or a couple of bastards thought "we'll let the Hammers slide because we'll get a nice slice of the pie when they sell Tevez to the Mancs...oh and f@ck Kia!". Biggrin

Kimbo, I just want to KNOW who are the characters in the Premier League who were scheming with West Ham head honchos. Where are the journalists? They have a great story. Journalists will be world famous if they get to the bottom of this shite. Will they do it though or continue being lazy journalists? Biggrin <Ale>

Will you listen...it's not our scheming! The deal was done with our old chairman and manager. No one at the club was involved in the original deal. We are trying to sort this mess out FFS, yet all you go on about is scheming Doh

The original deal isn't what's being disputed, that's sorted, it's what happened later on in the season, the changing of the contract, that has stirred things up. It looks to me like one of the 3 parties is hiding something, if that wasn't the case i doubt it would go to court. Personally i suspect it might be West Ham for the reasons that i've given. We keep being told that West Ham own him, so then why are Man Utd talking to MSI and not them? MSI must have shown Man Utd proof that they own him, and if they have done that then they mustn't have signed him over to West Ham,... but did they!?! It could just as easily be them that's hiding something. The results of this court case should be very interesting. <Ale>

    *****************************

    Scene1.

Attempting to make a quick buck, Joorabchian tries to sell his player Tevez to the Premier League big-hitters...

Joorabchian - Hey Chelsea, wanna buy this player? His name's Tevez and he's £25m

Chelsea - Nah man, we've just bought Shevchenko, he's ace.

Joorabchian - Hey Arsenal, wanna buy this player? His name's Tevez and he's £25m

Arsenal - Nah man, £25m's too much.

Joorabchian - Hey United, wanna buy this player? His name's Tevez and he's £25m

United - Nah man, he's unproven.

Slightly put out, Joorabchian resorts to sneakier tactics...

Joorabchian - Hey er... West Ham... wanna... er... 'loan' this player? His name's Tevez and he wont cost you a penny.

West Ham - What's the catch?

Joorabchian - Well... next season, when you sell him, i get all the money.

West Ham - Isn't that against Premier League rules?

Joorabchian - Yeah, So? I wont tell if you don't.

West Ham - Hehe... sneaky. You've got yourself a deal Mr Joorabchian.

    Joorabchian - Bwahahaha, sweet.

    West Ham - Bwahahahahahahah!

    ---------------------------------

    Scene2.

Halfway through the season, the Premier League big chiefs catch wind of West Hams game.

Premier League - Oi West Ham! He's not supposed to be playing for you! it's against the rules, you cheeky buggers!

West Ham - Er... what? who?

Premier League - That Tevez bloke! He doesn't belong to you.

West Ham - Oh er... him?... er... doesn't he?... oh yeah... er...

Premier League - Tell you what... if you sever all ties with this Joorabchian bloke and rip up any contracts you've got with him, we'll let you off with a small fine and you can keep Tevez.

West Ham - What? so basically what you're saying is... that if we rip up the contract that proves Tevez belongs to Joorabchian, then we can keep him?

Premier League - Pretty much, yeah.

West Ham - So er... what you're saying is... we blatantly flaunted the rules of the league, so we have to pay a £6m fine, but in doing so; we get a £25m player for f@ck all?

Premier League - Yeah, that sound fair?

West Ham - Well er... yeah.

    Premier League - Cool.

    West Ham - Bwahahahahahahahaha!

    ------------------------------

    Scene3.

Tevez scores loads of goals and saves West Ham from relegation causing Sheffield United to go down instead. Sheffield United, knowing that Tevez should not have been playing for the Hammers, cry like a smacked baby...

Sheffield United - WTF? This is Bollocks! we... he... they....

Premier League - Shut the f@ck up!

    --------------------------------

    Scene4.

After seeing Tevez adapt well to Premier League football, the champions Manchester United decide to buy him. So, naturally, they go to the bloke who owns him - a certain Mr Joorabchian - and offer £25m...

United - Hey Joorabchian, Tevez did well at West Ham, we'll buy him now.

Joorabchian - No probs, you got £25m?

United - Yeah sure, lets get this deal down.

    Joorabchian - ok, cool.

But the Premier League have different ideas...

Premier League - Erm... actually guys... i'm afraid you can't make that deal...

    United - eh? why?

    Joorabchian - yeah, why?

Premier League - Er... we kinda 'gave' Tevez to West Ham.

    Joorabchian - ...

Premier League - Yeah, er... we kinda said West Ham could keep Tevez. So United will have to pay them the £25m.

West Ham - Yeah, he's ours now, we ripped up the contract!

    Joorabchian - But...

Premier League - Hey, shut up Joorabchian!

West Ham - Yeah shut it!

United - Hang on... what's going on here?

Premier League - It's not our problem, ask FIFA or something.

    Joorabchian - But my money?...

Premier League - We told you to shut the f@ck up!

    ------------------------------------

    Scene5.

    FIFA gets involved...

FIFA - Eh? oh $h!t! ask somebody else.

    FIFA relinquishes all involvement.

I have the same opinion - fact is, under normal circumstances there is probably a 0.0000000001% chance that West Ham (remember this was pre-Magnusson's cash, though the transfer fee is only one aspect of it) would have signed Tevez. Considering he was given to them, if the court cannot find the clear legal ground in this, then they may have to go with a ruling "in the spirit of the game" and tell him to go to Man. Utd., with money going to MSI and not West Ham. It'll put the Premier League in big trouble with Sheffield Utd, but it's not as if CAS gives a f@ck about that.

About bloody time, West Ham have no ownership of the player, just a registration that he plays for their club (which means bugger all in reality as he can sign for another club and register for them)

West Ham are just trying to make some money out of an asset they've not purchased. Hopefully this will all be resolved swiftly.

This is my understanding of the Tevez transfer saga so far.

    During the season:

West Ham needed Tevez to play to stay up.

After the £5m fine, the Premier League told West Ham they can only play Tevez if they sign him from MSI.

West Ham were not going to pay MSI £25m for Tevez because they could still go down.

West Ham and MSI made a deal, West Ham can sign Tevez but then MSI can sell Tevez to another club in the summer and keep all/most of the money.

    After the season has finished:

Man Utd want Tevez, MSI want to sell Tevez to Man Utd.

The Premier League won't let this deal happen because they want West Ham to get all/most of the money because West Ham told the Premier League that they have signed the player from MSI.

If MSI get most of the money then it means they are still involved with the player and makes the Premier League look stupid again. Sheff Utd go back to court.

West Ham say they own the player, will not let Tevez have a medical with Man Utd.

MSI are taking West Ham to court because they are going back on the deal they made earlier.

The Premier League need to reverse their decision to award the transfer fee to West Ham, and then it will be a simple procedure of Man Utd and MSI Finalising the deal.

Because of a bunch of stubborn clowns this is dragging out.

Tevez was in effect on loan at West Ham.

Which in my opinion is quite fair, perhaps not on West Ham who have already paid a penalty.

But the Premier League have royally fucked themselves, and should be held accountable for this fiasco.
