How many Brazilian Internationals Empty How many Brazilian Internationals

    Post by Ä Tue Aug 14, 2007 5:52 pm

currently playing professional football are there in the world

    Question

there must be at least 100

so many who have something like 5-7 caps, it's unreal

even ManCity and Wolfsburg now have one

is this a Nike marketing ploy

or is the reason corruption on the part of the Brazilian manager who earns every time he makes a player an international

    Question

something, sure as hell, is fishy here

A lot of Brazilians not playing in Europe get picked when there is a clash between Brazilian friendlies and European fixtures. these players might get four or five caps whilst playing in South America, then they get spotted by European clubs and signed up. They then never play again because they weren't originally good enough and now play in Europe

Brazilian League is getting worse and worse. Brazilian League XI could even beat Serie A XI or La Liga XI in the 90's and early 00's. Today a Brazilian League XI definitely wouldn't finish in the top 4 of the top three leagues.

You can't believe how many average players are playing in the brazilian league. There isn't a single player that deserves to be called up for the national squad. There isn't a single player that one day will play regularly for Brazil or play for a big european club. There are only two decent young prospects. There's no one to be overhyped now that Pato is gone Smile . (Seriously, he is great)

At least we still have the best players in the world playing on european soil. Only Cristiano Ronaldo comes close to Kaká and Ronaldinho.

Josué and Elano are good players. They are good enough to play for Wolfsburg and Man City, but definitely the brazilian FA earns some money for calling up some players. The Brazilian FA president is very corrupt. BTW he wants to be the next FIFA president.

All those players that are playing in the eastern europe didn't deserve to be called up They got several chances and showed nothing. Vágner Love, Elano, Jô. Some young average players like Marcelo and Ilsinho moved to Europe after being called up.

is that meant to be a joke or what?????

Just look at the milan team of the 90's and that would kill any Brazil XI of the 90's

It's the old selling the good players to be able to pay the bad ones...the system is bound to collapse, it just takes a bit more time with Brazil than with other countries...

São Paulo scored an early goal and played behind the ball line for 90 minutes. Liverpool dominated the match and deserved to win. They created much more chances than São Paulo.

Congratulations to Inter, but Barcelona were missing several important players like Messi and Eto'o.

Tonigol talks Cr@p but you can hardly call the intercontinental cup a big game for European sides. Yes they 'want' to win it but its the League cup of international competitions.

Dunga has called up 14 players that were playing for brazilian clubs. Nine of them moved to Europe a few months after being called up.
