Just saw the Balckburn-Arsenal abreviated game. How Blackburn only got one player sent off is beyond me. They were disgarceful, and equally disgracefull was the blind spineless ref.

Summing up the ref's performance was the dirty stud showing tackle on Fabregas (by one player), whereupon Gamst immediately and blatantly stamps on Cesc's neck was disgusting. Not even a booking for either players.

Blackburn are a bunch of dirty fuckers Evil or Very Mad c**ts all of them!

Oh yeah i have to agree with whoever it was who said bentley are pederson are the two most overrated wingers in the league. They NEVER EVER attempt to go past the fullback. All they do is make space for themselves to whip a cross in. a decent to average defender like samba who can head the ball is enough to neutralise them.

Well Cesc has made enemys for himself....I said this last year, people will be out to get him. His comments about Hughes last year would not have helped <Ale>

Always the way it goes. The thing that annoys me most is that if a team wants to play like that then they should at least be 'tough' when they are on the receiving end. Savage dives around constantly, rolls about like a girl, and Hughes is always moaning to the fourth official acting as if they are the victims of a great injustice. They play good football at times, they don't need to be such a dirty team.

There were so many dirty fouls, studshowing tackles, stamping, elbows etc in that game it was unbelievable. That wasn't football, it was wrestling at a certain point. They kicked Gallas out of the game as well.

The ref really f*cked up. He completely choked. He deserves to be put back in the championship for such a meek and $h!t display.

    FT: Liverpool 1 - Chelsea 1

Chelsea rather lucky too escape with a point it must be said. Only one shot on target from them, and that was from a non-existent penalty.

Robbed of the three points there Sad we were the better team and there's no way that was a penalty. Ref completely lost the plot and destroyed the game. At least Torres bagged his first goal.

What a shame, a game ruined by the Ref.

I think we played extremely well in the first half, we looked eager, we had a great goal from Torres and we had Chelsea under constant pressure and danger.

The most annoying for me is Benitez's decision to take off Pennant, I thought he was our best player today I really do, Gerrard was great in the first half but Pennant was sublime today, his touches, his movements his crosses were all of the highest order and that's not always easy in those conditions.

As for the penalty it was a crazy crazy decision, Malouda has ran into Finnan (Not agger, Andy gray FFS) and the ref has chosen to give Chelsea a hand when they looked out of options.

We had 16 chances on goal I think and it's a shame not to take more of them, but we have plenty of positives, I think we did enough to win the game but I would of taken 4 points from the opening two games, it's early days.

Most of MotD2 will be about the refereeing from todays matches. Particulary the Liverpool vs. Chelsea game where Styles had a very poor game. He clearly pointed to Essien as he shown that yellow card and the penalty was very weak.
