Cole hasnt played much for a year or so, but I think this has the potential to be Sunderlands best signing so far. At least at Man City he still looked sharp and the Premier League has had few better forwards in terms of movement and the ability to work oneself into a goalscoring position. He has improved his build up play throughout his career too, to where he can now play as a linking striker rather than as an out-and-out striker. Keane has praised his experience and suggested they need players like him in the dressing room, but I think, if he can regain his fitness, he could prove a huge asset. Personally, Id stick him and Chopra up front together and see how that goes.

I think this is a good buy for Keane, at least he has players (despite their age) with a winning mentality.
If Cole and Yorke inspire the youngsters then they have done their job.
I can't see them as a partnership winning many games, as their desire has gone thus far, perhaps Keane can bring them back out of their shell... who knows..
