Last-minute transfers

The rumour machine is obviously in overdrive for the last 2-3 days of the summer transfer window.

Names that are doing the rounds are Adriano, Deco, Baptista, Alves, Motta, Marquez, Ronaldinho, and a few handful more.

What's going to happen. Keep on track with the latest wheelings and dealings here. Wild rumours are welcome of course in true EMB style.

Anelka to Man United is almost done, once Berbatov pledges his (shoirt term) future to Spurs.

Alves to Real

Certainties IMO.

Cesc and Kaká to Real..

(I don't think Deco is leaving honestly.. there isn't enough time to find a proper replacement and Inter won't pay 20+ for him)

I don't believe Deco is content on sitting on the bench tbh.

of course he isn't but I think he has about 70-80% chance of starting tonight and against Athletic.. Xavi and Iniesta are just too similar, especially for the away games.

We are actually having the best weather we've had this year at the moment.

The weekend and the last 3 days have been all 25c plus.
