What a stunning goal by Benfica. In the words of Andy Gray; "pick that one out".

I also thought that over the game, specially in the second half, Benfica created many more chances. Bad luck, poor finishing and Nesta Kaladze stopped Benfica from winning this one.

Actually both were pretty good ok

Tho Kaladze did make a coupla mistakes, he more than made up for them many times over.

In the finish, I thought we were a little unlucky not to get the three points. And, that's been our C/L campaign cry, our luck in front of goal hasn't existed. So far in the group games we have needed over 30 shots for every goal scored, and Milan takes about 5.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Benfica couldn't have won it. Just seemed to me that Milan figured they had done enough and didn't want to risk losing the match; they came close to losing but they also came close to sneaking the win.

Bad luck in the CL? You're not alone.

He have tried, but it seems to be a problem with mentality in Portugal.
Our strikers seem to only like shooting inside the penalty area (midfielder it's a different proposition)
We over emphasize on ball circulation, and forget to do the essential, scoring.

Saying that, we have played much worst in the Portuguese league, and have scored 15 goals on the last 6 games.
In Europe, we can score for dear live.

Yeah, you're correct. Caldwell is a dodgy RB, Pressley hasn't played in a while and O'Dea is very raw although he performed very, very well in the San Siro last year against Milan.

Inzaghi can become the top European goalscorer ever tonight if he scores! That's an amazing achievment! Well done

But he goes to ground too easily. Never a freekick earlier and he looked for a pen a few moments ago. He did pull off an amazing run earlier though. Ghosted inside a defender brilliantly.

Pirlo played a phenomenal pass to Inzaghi in the Celtic area earlier.

Celtic are playing very, very poorly. Too scared to go frward.

A perfect example just now. Celtic had the chance to break quickly and got in a good position but ended up conceding a throw-in going backwards under minimal pressure. Erm

Poor game so far. It needs a goal to liven it up.

Yeah, I think he equals the great Gred Muller's record if he scores.

Very very boring game, both teams seem to be happy with the score. It might become more interesting if Shaktar score a couple soon, and then Milan score.

Hey, sorry I didn't get back to you, was downstairs watching the game.

I heard it on the telly. They said that he has equalled Muller's record, scoring 62 in all UEFA club competitions.

As mentioned above, if he scores tonight he will have scored 63 which is the record number of goals in all UEFA club competitions.
