    What makes you think that?
We're very close to Germany in the ranking. And you will not gain that many points with 3 average clubs playing in the CL.

The worst that could happen is that they'll go play on in the Uefa Cup after the group phase. Plus, we're losing our worst result (by far) next year.
It's all good. I see us getting at least 10 points this year.
So do we (but that has no influence on this season).

We'll see, could be close, we don't have all good squads in the UEFA Cup & tough draws.

    Weird logic.

You have 0.8 points for this year so far. We already have 2.0. Plus we have two German teams beating two Portuguese teams at the moment.

    Suarez injured or so ?

He was subbed in the last game , not happy .. maybe its a precaution.

Strange, he's your best player by a country mile

He's on dope : we've gotten a horror draw in the UEFA cup and the stronger clubs made sure the weaker clubs won't collect a single point (Ajax shafted Groningen over Suarez, AZ shafted Heerenveen over Alves) so we won't be getting much points at all.

AZ and PSV have to do all the work for Holland...

Ajax should have won 2:0 , Huntelaar missed a sitter , still i thought they would get raped by Zagreb , Ten Cate got his tactics spot on Balaban and Modric were restricted. Another positive , a new gem is unearthed ... his name: Gregory van der Wiel Ale , Urby played well and so did Rommedahl.

The tie is NO WAY over , Zagreb will come back hard.

Bayern struggling to get that 2nd goal with Klose (suspended) and Toni (subbed) out. Poldi really needs to step up his game.

1-0 would be an okay result against a very defensive team. In the 2nd leg they'd have to do something and then we can kill them on the counter.

Still, this tie should have been over today.

Last year the HSV did hardly collect a single point in the CL and did not even reach the UEFA Cup in the end. This year the CL for Bremen is easier and I think all German teams in the CL will at least reach the UEFA Cup in the end, the HSV more or less already qualified for the groupe stage.

Apart from that Bayern are the big big favourites to win the UEFA Cup. I think we will collect (much) more points than last year.

Not that well, he lives more on his player career then his coaching one. I mean he usually stays one year at a team...then gets fired!

    Bayern 1-0 FT

Too many chances wasted. Shouldn't happen in the 2nd leg when Klose's back.

bayern v belenenses is still a wide open tie.bayern wasted some good approach play with a poor final ball or poor finishing.belenenses showed they could be a handful on their own ground.i will tip bayern to score at least once in lisbon and go through.

    Dear Bayern,
If I read something about you lot being smug about being the only German team to win in Europe this week, I shall... Forget my manners and come down to Munich to poke you with sharp, pointy things. You wasted how many chances today? Exactly. You scored how many goals? Exactly.

So, I'll kindly advise you to shut up and maybe live up to your image by beating Lissabon at least 3-0 in the away tie.

    No love,
    anglo
