I think all 3 teams (Holland, Romania and Bulgaria) are playing bad. I know why we are playing bad. The stupid coach is making a rather bizarre selection for the NT. But I guess a lot of countries are having this problem. But why is Holland having problems? I mean with the players you have you should have dominated the group.

Our coach is an idiot. But why does Ogararu doesnt get a call up for Romania? He's doing well at Ajax.

Because the coach doesn't like him. And to make room for the has-been Contra. And there are others good player that could play for Romania but Piturca brings in his favorite players.

Turkey look strong this year. They equalised a 2:0 lead against Norway today, still unbeaten in the qualification. They have quite a few talented players. If they qualify (which they most probably will), they'll be my dark horses in 2008.

But they've got probably the easiest group. If you look at the standings, Greece will probably qualify easily in 2nd place! But Turkey did beat them 4-1 in Greece, so I think their true level is somewhere in the middle - not quite good enough to be dark horses (I'm reserving that title for the co-hosts Switzerland), but can certainly upset some of the established teams.
