I'm sure the eventual plan is to complie some sort of EMB top ten for every position and then see how many of those are English, so as to prove that we do indeed have a squad of world class footballers

To be fair, that top 5 film genre thread was going great, until I went a bit too far and pushed for the top 10 of all time film thread. Should of known my limits.

Well Rio played for West Ham. He was so good that Leeds decided to fork out a world record (for a defender) transfer fee for him.

And then at Leeds he was so good again that Utd decided to fork out an again world record transfer fee for him.

being top 10 in the EPL doesn't = WC, so i fail to see how this will help that argument, it may do more to disprove the EPL being the best league in the world bullsh¡t

He'll have all the field names set up, and of course some sort of input mask and simple validation rules, but its simply a matter of importing the data as some sot of Excel compatible file. I can't see how me carrying forward the 'centre back' section, will have a detrimental effect on the data reliability of his dataset

It could be time sensitive, it could be set up to read data direct from his own posts or threads that he starts. More importantly I just think it's rude to muscle in on his threadology, particularly since you're intelligent enough to see that he was going somewhere.
