    Reading 3-1 Liverpool FT

There will be some tough questions for Benitez to answer tonight. Very odd tactics in this game and it has cost them badly. A crucial week in Liverpool's season gets off to a dreadful start and they'll be desperately hoping that Torres is fit for the Champions League match in midweek. Liverpool remain seven points behind Arsenal in the league and a slight gap opens between the top three and them (although they still have a game in hand over Man Utd and Chelsea).
