    bolton 4-1 up over wigan.

    poor potato.

wigan will be looking a bit adrift now, with bolton, boro and spurs winning.

So, Arsenal lose two big players to injury and hit rock bottom in terms of results and performance. A loss to Sevilla, a lucky win over Villa, a draw against the most underperforming side in the league at the moment and a loss to a team without a win in ages.

It's not looking good. And I said that this would happen months ago. you should have listened.

    Hleb, Cesc, Flamini and RVP.

We all knew that key injuries would inflict us, especially if one of those was to be Cesc.

So, your worst player last season, your two best players (probably) and Flamini, who has been widely derided until this year.

It shows the problem with relying on very good young players - an older player won't want to sit around playing sub, so you have no replacement in case of injury. Compared to how the other big three have coped with injuries this season, Arsenal look weak.

Its not all doom and gloom though, we still top Smile

True enough, but you were five points ahead not so long ago, now it's very much game on. As I've also said many times, Arsenal are a streak team - when they're winning, they play with great confidence and are capable of long undefeated runs. But when they lose, it almost always knocks the $h!t out of them for weeks. This side may have more resilience than previous ones, however, and the next 6 or so games will be the test of that.

There is still time for him.

I really rate him as a shot stopper. One of the best in the league. Sometimes his decision making seems a little eratic.

I genuinly felt sorry for him when he broke down with a bad injury before the World Cup.

Its not as bad as it seems. If only Paul Robinson could get his confidence back. Its been 24 months now. Green had been overlooked IMO under McLaren. Not sure he should have been a starter, but he deserved a place in the squad with James.

As for the up and coming keepers. Lee Camp looks like he won't hit the heights. Alnwick from what I have heard is promising.

Its all about Joe Hart for me though. <Ale>

Hopefully Sven can bring him on like Richards, Johnson and Ireland.

Why shouldn't he be a contender for England? You either haven't watched him...or have and you are being a complete WUM. Either of those could be the reason...

I reckon he'd perform for his country, unlike these overrated tossers who earn £100,000 a week and can't get their country through to a European Championship.

You replicate the view of others who pick players based on name, instead of actually watching them. I could picture you in a stadium, in the rain under an umbrella Hysen...you seem to share McClaren views.
