Ballack's already done Sissoko for trying to push his weight about. Imagine the treatment on Cesc for something like that.

Fabs humiliated that little girl scout. The Pr!ck dived all game, but in the end, Cesc's class prevailed. <Ale>

Bwt, it was never proven that he actually did spit on Ballack. He probably did though.

Terry’s behaviour – or lack of – was unbefitting of a captain. His intent on entering those challenges appeared to be malicious, I think. Cesc’s tackle was also rash.

Terry and Cesc both strike me as being insecure. Hence their desires to exert their authority over others via intimidation and/or bravado.

No, Fabregas is extremely passionate, his temper does take the better of him though on some occasions. Off the pitch he is as nice as they come. <Ale>

I'm not sure? I think Keane is probably more secure but just a nastier individual than both Cesc and Terry. His acts of brutality weren't an act of compensation for his insecurities: they were acts of retribution.

How do you explain spitting in someone's face? making a completely unnecasary challenge at the end of the game on a. cole? walking off the pitch and insulting hughes because he didn't win?

In time I think he will probably learn to walk away from conflagrations - which will be better for him and Arsenal.

ps Yes, I agree with LRD on this: Cesc thrives on confrontation.

    Cheers

I dont think all of his acts on/off the pitch were acts of retribution though.

What about Scholes? Surely he deserves to be done over by now?
Maybe Cesc does overstep the line on occasion but if he didint, im nearly certain he would never have made it in the EPL.

He was booked for a clear yellow card offense mate. Because Anderson rolled about doesn't change that. His reaction with Anderson was fine anyway, i got no problem with that.
