Saw the game last night, and thought inter played much better than I thought they would (except for the finishing). Reina doesn't seem to have been credited here so I have to say he played very well, not only saving, but getting his angles right making it very difficult for the inter strikers to hit the target when they had chances.
Other points to note: Ibra played ok, and did create a couple of good opportunities. But this is the difference between the fancy flick kind of support strikers and goal-scorers. Ibra created opportunities for himself and others, and it looked nice, but no-one scored. Torres scored a great goal pretty much by himself. I think the flicks and things usually work against lower level teams with weak defenders and they can get a lot of chances, but when it comes to the higest level it only works once or twice and in that moment the player also needs to be clinical, which ibra isn't.
The second yellow, was for me correct. Maybe the contact was minimal because lucas pulled out of it somehow after flicking the ball away, but the way burdisso had gone through with the challenge he could have really hurt the player. Anyway wasn't burdisso the one who tried to kick kuyt in the nuts from the floor. Could have been red for that, the only balls there were kuyt's.
And my Inter (and Milan) friends agree that the better team over the two legs went through, and the best midfielder in the world is Gerrard
