I think Maier was good at it too

    Arsenal now dominating

Lothar thinks their Kurzspassspiel ist einzigartig

    still too complicated though

because he's playing left winger. wenger did the same with RVP for a while... Bendtner is Ade stand in.

I don't care who joins Ade but either edurado or Bendtner should pair him.

I thought Eboue's earlier booking was harsh. Perhaps a penalty would have been harsh too, but Jankulovski did catch him with his knee even if Eboue made a bit of a meal of it. Hleb could do with taking more responsibility in some situations, with daring to shoot. Arsenal's final ball and finishing has just been poor, even lackadaisical.

A typical piece of Walcott magic, as I write, leads to the best chance of the game but Adebayor only heads against the bar from a yard out.

    And it finishes 0-0.

Not a bad result but disappointed we didn't take some of our chances. Milan were 2nd best on the night but they'll definitely play better in the San siro. Hoping for a cracker <Ale>

Its getting to be a psycological thing now - very worrying.

Surely, by the law of averages, if you have such a number of shots, some of them will eventually go in the corners. Cuz this just didnt happen.

    Maldini was very good.

Arsenal were roughing up Pirlo in the 1st half - always a leg going into his calf from Hleb or Fabregash just after he released each pass.

Fabregash's shooting was straight from the Frank Lampard school - medium pace straight down the middle and hope for a bit of luck.

Arsenal should have got a 1-0 out of this - Eboue and Adebayor missed great chances.

Pass of the match from Pirlo to Kaka but his lob drifted harmlessly across the face of the goal.

Tough one to call - Arsenal have pace to hit on the counter and did'nt concede an away goal but Man U fancied themselves last year and you usually need to win at home if 2nd leg is at San Siro.
