You'd much rather have Walcott. I mean, he can't head (which Crouch can), can't pass (which Crouch can) can't control a football or finish (both of which Crouch can) but y'know, he's 'mobile' and that's just so important...
Don't you feel alone hey ? In your last post there is a lack of argument; You're insulting Walcott for proving Crouch is great.Poor poor attempt.Football fans prefer Walcott.True story. <Ale>

That's hysterical. Even Walcott's manager admits he's disappointed. And you'll barely find an Arsenal fan on here willing to back him at the moment.

And I'm not trying to prove that Crouch is great. I know he's great. But for the purposes of this argument I'm arguing that 7 million was a fair fee given what he offers as a player and given his actual record for Liverpool, and for Southampton the season before (presumably the reason Benitez signed him).

I told you..Crouch is a total waste of money..And of course he isn't pacey. What is debatable again ? he isn't a good header too despite being a giant! He is..let's say..Average.Is there something else you want to learn about Peter Crouch ?

As has been covered so many times on here, Crouch's creative headers (knock downs, largely) are outstanding. His vision and short passing, lay offs and so forth, are also very good. He's a better finisher with his feet than with his head, and his goalbound heading is very inconsistent. I won't argue with that. I'm saying you don't have to have pace to be a good striker, and I think Crouch is a good example of that.

You'll surely talk about his amazing record for England then.Oki doki but what has he done in Ko stage in WC or EC and if he is so good why England will stay at home during the next summer ? ANSWER PLEASE my man! Biggrin <Ale>

He has barely played in the KO stages of international tournaments. So, once again, it doesn't prove anything substantiating your argument to talk about that. Of course, that's not your intention. As you get more and more desperately entwined in your own crapspouting you resort to even more obvious diversionary tactics.

You can continue your Crouch hype but do it with persons who will listen to you.FFS in this thread 3 persons told you that Crouch is a waste of money! and you said you kicked my arse...oh dear.Wake up........ lol! Biggrin <Ale>

I didn't I kicked your arse. I said you got your arse whooped. I'm not taking all the credit for you looking like a fool. You have to take some, obviously...

So in two words. You're the nice guy always right.Crouch is great despite being a sub (even you accept that) and despite the fact he proved nothing in ko stage when it matters. lol!

I told you your bullshit propaganda work only on morons...just repeat these words :I'm wrong and i'm just trying to provok you the great Arnaud. As i have done with the other posters.

I gave you decent answers to your" arguments" but your only answers are "try harder" lol! or i know i'm right lol! or "you try to change the subject ect ect"...what the hell are you talking about huey mate ? Find something else for winning this argument!.

Answer to my questions now about KO stage and the fact he is on the bench then say to me if £7m that isn't too much.No manipulation..Just answer and then we continue the debate...btw it is well known Crouch is a bad header despite being tall...Even benitez said it.He is better with his feet according to everyone.

Crouch is great despite being a sub (even you accept that) and despite the fact he proved nothing in ko stage when it matters. lol!

He scored in two of the three games that he played 90s minutes of in the CL KO rounds. I told you this ages ago.

I told you your bullshit propaganda work only on morons...just repeat these words :I'm wrong and i'm just trying to provok you the great Arnaud. As i have done with the other posters.

Arnie, I'm not trying to provoke you. You keep putting words in my mouth and then shooting them down. This is called a strawman argument. You also attribute to me dozens of motives (presumably for these statements I haven't made) and then try to insult me for them.

And yet you think it is I who is trying to provoke you. Take a look at what you've posted on this thread.

I gave you decent answers to your" arguments" but your only answers are "try harder" lol! or i know i'm right lol! or "you try to change the subject ect ect"...what the hell are you talking about huey mate ? Find something else for winning this argument!.

You asked me what he's done in matches he never played in - how is that a 'decent answer' to my argument? I've never said I know I'm right. Once again, you attributes statements to me I never made and motives for these statements that are not mine.

And somehow you think this isn't a diversionary tactic...

Answer to my questions now about KO stage and the fact he is on the bench then say to me if £7m that isn't too much.

I've already answered your questions - he's barely played KO football at European/International level and where he has he's done well (though not spectacularly well). And now, 7 million isn't too much for a third choice striker at a side in the CL final. A few flukes by smaller teams aside, you'd struggle to find a cheaper striker on the bench for a team in the CL final in recent years.

No manipulation..Just answer and then we continue the debate...btw it is well known Crouch is a bad header despite being tall...Even benitez said it.He is better with his feet according to everyone.

Only at finishing. His passing with his head is very, very good. You've yet to answer this...

    I'm not your mate.

1)Do you agree he is regularly on the bench ?

    Yep.

2)Do you agree he proved nothing in KO stage ?

Nope. He's scored in the CL KO stages (as I pointed out several posts back), and against Barca he came off the bench with minutes to go and his movement got him the best chance of the game, his finish bringing a very good save from the keeper denying him the goal that would, presumably, convince you he's a world class player. Since you put so much stock in goals in KO football in the CL.

    just
answer to these questions without psychologie bullshit like "you try to

    ect...

I said neither of these things.

It's not my record. I haven't said either of those things. However, you've said them twice in two posts. Curious.

You aren't the first to do it (play the

    these questions.

Firstly, I'm more than intelligent enough to analyse you. You are nowhere near as complex a human being as you'd like to think. But I'm not trying to analyse you. When I talk of diversionary tactics I don't mean psychological diversion, I mean in terms of rhetoric and argument.

Yet you try to attribute this psychoanalytical motive to what I've said, thus trying to psychoanalyse me. All the while accuse me of trying to analyse you and telling me you aren't interested in what I have to say, despite actively encouraging me to keep responding and even starting a thread about me.

Can you see why anyone with the slightest intelligence might think you're a hypocritical tosser who is accusing everyone else of what he does himself?

    No?

And if you haven't read my post, why do you feel it necessary to label it 'bullshit propaganda' (did you just learn this phrase - you seem to be using it a lot...)?

Yes, he's worth 7 million. For all the reasons I've mentioned. And the fact that he's scored again today.

He didn't read your post because he wanted you to respond with only a yes or no, neither answer has any relevance to Arnie, but what it would have demonstrated was 'control' being able to dictate a response from you.
