One game or we would be saying Rooney is a LM.

It isn't just one game Rai. The man is a forward and you're in denial.

anyway im sure if liverpool vs roma last night and they had got the same result , cotter would be signing a rather different tune.

Exactly rosicky exactly. Would have heard how Liverpool are the kings of europe, Benitez is a tactical genius, it was easy, Gerrard is amazing Torres is a legend.
But other way round Fergie is a bore, manu got lucky. defensive football
Will be watching the game with a few Arsenal fans tonight and for once we shall cheer the same team

But dont you and others get on Liverpools back if they win playing defensive and tactical? so were you critical of them because they were defensive, pragmatic or because man utd couldnt do the same?
surely you want man utd play attacking right?

Yeah being top scorers this year proves this wonderful point robert
Last year we were only 'pragmatic' against chelsea ie a team who can 'damage' us
We thrashed psv, attacked barca in the nou camp and were the only team trying to play football in the final. We just didn't have any cutting edge.
This argument is total B/S I'm afraid mate. Your double standards are appalling
If you want to criticise us, then accept the criticism for your own defensive displays. Fergie has been doing it for so long away in europe I am surprised you are even putting up a defence for it

kas wrote:I haven't read through this thread, and didn't watch the match as I was watching Barça instead...any chance there was a post with a good summary (esp. of the tactical side of the game) of the match, or is it all just Man. Utd. fans vs. Liverpool and other fans going round in circles?

Nope scoring is the hardest..... Almost every goal scored there an assist (creating a goal) How many chances are created in a game but not scored.
