Cruijff was never a speed merchant, I swear I've discussed this before. I maybe overreacting there is no new Cruijff just one individual who seems to share the same flair, still he is 17 and will improve. Already better than Robinho in my eyes Very Happy

Unlike Maradona who had countless so called 'heirs'. There is only one El Salvador. Michael Laudrup was the only player who ever came close to El Salvador (not my words but Gods himself)

    GOOOOOOAL
Almeria equalise. is it impossible for Barca to get results away from home. in their defence they are a man down but they have had numerous chances to score allthough Almerica has aswell. Henry who has actually played well should have closed the game earlier.

Despite their problems Laudrup never wanted say anything bad about Cruyff no matter how much journalist tried to get something out of him.he would only say that Cruyff was different but that he has earned the right to be that. he has also said several times that he is the coach that has taught him the most.

Simao puts Atletico in the lead - a smash and grab against the run of the play.

    Why didn't Barca buy Forlan?

I won't argue with that fundamentally, though.... Erm

Forlan scores 2nd for Atletico. Good box play by Simao.

€100m buyout, plus we would have to be completely certifiably insane to sell him to a rival in La Liga. Not even Soler's ghost is that thick! Rather let him rot on bench for duration ofcontract than sell him to Madrid.

Because of the Madrid-Man. Utd, Chelsea-Barcelona, Valencia-Arsenal synchronisation when it comes to winning their respective leagues. Going back 7 or 8 seasons I think, these teams have always won the league in the same years.

On Valencia, I too am starting to believe the Koeman must go bandwagon...I thought he had started turning things around, but they just keep getting worse. But now watch them beat us in the Copa Del Rey Erm

Valencia fans are obviously not happy at this season, but you can't help but think "careful what you wish for", after they all wanted Quique out for supposedly playing bad football even though they were clinging on near the top. So in a way the general majority of the fans are also to blame.

And fuckwits they were too. Always said should have kept Quique until end of season at least. Koeman dimision!

Yes but if Madrid did cough up €100m can you actually stop Villa going? The only other club who have that sort of money is Chelsea and I'm not sure if even they'd do it seeing they'll probably have to rebuild most of the team next summer.

re. Forlan (who's just scored a second goal btw) - from what I've read about him,he's not only a good player but pretty genuine too. Does his best to adapt to new clubs and give 100%. That has to be a good thing.

I am fed up! For the first time I want him out! Can't even bloody defeat the newcomers.. can't hang on to a lead! Yes, he did alright with the substitutions but that is simply not enough..
