If Lehmann had been our keeper this season, we wouldn't have even been in a title race! We'd probably be ten points lower than we currently are at the moment. And that's being generous.

Lehmann of this season or Lehmann at his best? Lehmann at his best would have seen Arsenal win against Chelsea. Lehmann this season and they'd probably have got a Liverpool result.

Lehmann this season. Even at his best, Lehmann has always been a liability. Barthez Mark II

But like Barthez, he was also an excellent keeper at his best. I never saw Lehmann trying to dribble the ball out of his area thinking he was George Weah. We could have quite a fun thread trying to work out which of the two was the more eccentric.

Us and Chelsea have had bigger keeper problems, we've missed van der Sar for around 5 - 10 games and Chelsea have missed Cech for even more.

    ok, you anti-Germans

now show me videos of how YOUR "best goalie in world" scores the clincher in the 90th minute against his arch-rivals

by spectacularly heading the ball in

    thought so

    lol!

comparing Lehmann to Buffon , Casillass or Cech is like comparing Adidas to Umbro

    or the Zugspitze

Can you watch people having sex in their cars in the Zugspitze car park?

on this basis I declare Jimmy Glass the greatest keeper of all time.

he scored a goal for Carlisle in the 92nd minute on the last day of the season, which kept them in the football league.

Canizares is a club legend. It might have been time for him to go, but the manner in which Koeman did it is far worse than anything Wenger has done to Lehmann and if he was so over the hill what does that say about Hildebrand that he needed Koeman to be a complete c**t to displace an ageing Canizares? I notice that you didn't mention Albelda. Club legend who has been treated far worse than Lehmann. Twisted Evil Albelda is far from finished. He has far more to offer than Lehmann. Care to dispute that?
