Petric or Rooney Empty Petric or Rooney

    Post by Ä Wed Mar 26, 2008 12:40 pm

a question boldly answered by the Croatian when he helped unhinge England

whilst the Liverpool-born boy wonder marveled in awe

Owen quickly pronounced that NONE of the Croatians would make the England team

Bilic found this outrageously arrogant and duly eliminated the Lions

well, Petic is currently taking the Bundesliga by storm despite playing at shitty Dortmund

leaving many of the Englanders on here dismiss him as a big fish in a tiny pond

    well

JUVE do not agree with you, my dear friends

they are now due to make a 20 million Euro offer for the Croatian, snubbing Rooney in the process

    http://www.sport1.de/de/sport/artikel_2204274.html

almost like a Hollywood movie where Good prevails over Evil and we have a Happy End

    pure Spielberg

    lol!

    Snubbing Rooney? lol!

Even if Juventus offered Rooney £1m a week he probably wouldn't join them Otto.

They're no longer the force they were. Their reputation is tarnished and everyone knows their football is readily comparable to $h!t on a stick Ale

Petric is about the level of player that Juve can attract. a decent player in an inadequate league

    Another "Tweedism"Doh

Much as I dislike Juve, you clearly underestimate them... while they may have no interest in Rooney and vice versa, their football is not "readily comparable to $h!t on a stick". They will good pressing football, with a lot of spirit and passion, and at a level which has been better than the likes of Fiorentina and Milan.... and almost comparable to Roma. They have recently beaten both Inter and Roma, show some respect!

Rooney didn't play in that game.

This has become irrelevant. Terry, Rio, Robinson didn't play in that game, yet all take a huge amount of criticism for England's elimination.

We still have to play Arsenal and Chelsea. That's 6 points that can be easily cut from us right there. It just so happens our lead is...5 points. Of course anyone of 3 teams can win it at this stage.

Lord and I feel like Barrack Obama with the typical white woman thing. Choosing Petric is to humour Otto, now I can nomore disown Otto as I can my fellow redbloods!

your making that assessment based on EPL standards, la liga is vvvvvvv different this season, teams dropping lots more points. RM are currently on a v bad run (relegation form), Barça have struggled to win away all season, and villarreal are on a pretty decent run, with a game more to go its vvvvv possible. whereas in england arsenal have blown up, chelsea have been inconsistant all season, and with a v odd exception utd have ground out results all season even when they've played sh¡t

lrd its not just about the winner of the league though. the entire league in spain is far more unpredictable this season. lots of teams at the outset you'd have thought had a top 4 chance, then add in racing, mallorca, espanyol who've all looked good at times, getafe slowly improving after a pretty awful start. every week its difficult to guess what'll happen, the epl is far more predictable
