Follow the money....

The Bundesliga has tonnes more money than the Eredivisie so obviously they kick our arse.

Our league is still the best place for young players to play and learn though and no other league comes close in terms of entertainment Ale

....not that long ago they would cancel Bayern out. These days I agree Bayern is a class above.

Well even though the Bundesliga has zillions more then us, I think it would be quiet close. But the is until the 10th place or so, they the Bundesliga gets the upper hand.

I thought their EPL was called Superleague or something like that...

I know not enough about Portuguese football but I'd say their EPL is below the German EPL and on par with the Dutch league.

On players making it from lower leagues - going back a bit but Kevin Keegan was signed by Liverpool from Scunthorpe I think and was pretty good in the Bundesliga as well. There will be other examples as well more recent than that.
