So Valencia have Albelda, Baraja, Maduro, Edu, Banega, Sunny, Viana...and I feel like I am forgetting one. But now they want to add Kallstrom and Zapater. They buy central midfielders like Liverpool buy fullbacks!

All according to SPORT, these are nearly finalized: Deco to Chelsea for 10m, Eto'o to Inter for 25m, and Ronaldinho is close to Manchester City.

But you can't really be too surprised...

Before the Euro I would have taken 10m for Deco. But I feel his performances there deserve a bit more.

25m euros for Etoo is just a disgrace. We bought him for around that much in 2004, and considering his profile now, we should be making a profit on him, even though it's the club that want to sell rather than others wanting to buy.

Injuries might have reduced his vaule.

But the main thing is that your club came out and said that they didn't count on these players and that automatically gives other teams the upper hand in negotiations.

No you cant , you have transfer listed these players and you will get what others think is feasible for your dead wood.

And that's basically what I mean - it's stupid for the club to sell Etoo if all we're getting is 25million euros. That's even less than Adebayor's price ffs.

Eto'o said that he won't consider his future until pre-season begins.

Betis have offered Turkish DM Mehmet Aurelio a 3 year contract. Didn't realise he was available on a free...probably will be loads more clubs interested in him. Can see him going to a Portsmouth or Everton kind of team.

- Alberto (Valladolid) staying is dependent on whether Sergio Asenjo joins Zaragoza. If he does Jacobo has been brought back from his loan spell with Numancia and will become the No 1, otherwise Jacobo will probably be loaned back out and Alberto will remain as the No 2.

And Villarreal have signed Ibagaza from Mallorca! Very surprising transfer, and it means that Mallorca will lose 2 of their best players this summer, Ibagaza and Guiza. Again, I don't think he's a CL quality signing for Villarreal, but will be excellent for them in the league to rotate with Pires, Cazorla, etc.

Atleti strongly linked with Olivera which is strange considering Zaragoza have only just finalised a deal to make his move permanent

They had an option, which they exercised, but i suppose if Patetioc offer anything more than 10M (which they paid) they may consider it.

I think they deliberately bought him back with an intention to sell him on. Strange choice of course, but looks like they'll get a fair price from Atletico.

I wonder what will happen to Sinama, he was also supposedly very close to signing for Atletico.

Only Arango would be left, although he comes up with great goals he tends to be very inconsistent and disappears during games. So yeah, they could well be in trouble.

But the last couple of seasons there have been a load of shite teams in La Liga, so a lot of teams that may seem relegation candidates, somehow survive. Manzano is a decent manager too.

Benfica are offering 1m euros for Madrid's 3rd keeper, Codina. Looks like Quique is really emphasising signings from La liga.

Gudjohnsen almost certain to join us now. Last year his injury scuppered the move...but it should be done pretty soon apparently. Not sure of the price though...

Wonderful. I really hope it happens this summer, and that he'll have more success there. Keep us updated

Good news. He's on relatively large wages so it'll be good for him to go somewhere where he at least plays to justify that money. Hopefully it's a good price.
